Hi Toller thanks for the reply. I think absorbing the coins, mats and cash off from the crafting table to spread them on a different event, while maintaining the same grind requirements on said mission event is why we consider it a nerf. Players must grind for about the same period of time for less rewards, not everyone completes every event, so players will still feel cheated. Personally I think it’s a shame the game resorted to having events each day of the week, makes everything feels like a chore and not fun; but again, the event feels nerfed because we would have to grind for the same time while receiving not mats or coins like we used to (even if we can find those mats and coins on a different event) thanks for forwarding the feedback.Originally Posted by Ubi-Toller Go to original post
So you don't get any coins in the upgrade frenzy event just mats. You only got coins in the final solo pack of the crafting event so if you don't finish the event you get 0 coins. It seems coins is where your trying to strangle the players to get them to spend. A while back the talk was trying to bridge the gap between new players and veterans none of the changes implemented have helped at all its only made the gap bigger.
so I'm nearing the end of events, and I get... common mats... yea great...
give us CARTMAN COINS
list of cards wating to be leveled
level 4 to 5
BHK
Awesomo
Gizmo
CBB
Marcus
this is just a selection, from the top of my head of cards I either want to use, or know need upgrading
by the time I get enough coins for that I will probably have SNR (90/100) Santa (in the 80s) and coon has reached 70s now as well
there are numerous rares still not even max 5.. that i need to level up.
sharon will be going 6 next...
and I actually want to invest in leveling up the new cards to see where I am at.
this was NEVER a problem, so why is my list ever growing? its stifling the game, because I cant actually play anything new. all the resources go into TvT.. and even then I am finding i can upgrade ONE card (rather then 2 or 3)
Thanks for asking.
That doesn't explain the lack of cartman cash in daily events. It would help if RL could make an exact comparison with what has been buffed before and after the recent change in rewards.
Even if they really are buffs, it still is a bad sign when people on the SPPD fan group FB page unanimously agree the rewards feel like they have been nerfed.
So someone has compared this weeks rewards to last weeks and mats and cards have increased this week but coins cash and pvp tickets have decreased. You don’t get pvp tickets at all. So the more useful stuff has been nerfed. Coins seem to be continually been nerfed which is what most people have been complaining about.
Perhaps the game is approaching its natural end where there is no more progress and they are slowing it down as they can. For most, level 4 legendary cards are already a myth, level 5 epics is achievable with time, but level 6 is quite impossible and, even if there are upgrades til level 7, end game for most is already there. When this sense of progress fades what is left to make people play? A bugged and cheated game?
If they are taking time to think new ways of progress I would understand the drop nerf, but instead of a tool to this end this is more likely their final solution, at least that's how it feels from the buff/nerf they do. Look at the last changes and revert to Jesus, look at the long awaited Call Girl buff, I refuse to think the developer of the game are this incompetent to believe those make any sense, because they are capable of thinking new fun/different cards such as new Bradley or Thunderbolt. It is quite evident they are dragging the already stranded boat.
Between fixes to bugs and cheating, this game needs a drastic change in what is its progress, the card upgrade.
Most games would have released an expansion by now, some way to spend time playing the game and feel rewarded. I could see small addons to cards existing that would allow certain cards more viability and would open up the meta a bit and include more cards in the endgame. They could have released new PVE and group bosses. And as far as rewards, you have to receive a reasonable amount of compensation for your time in completely virtual currency. And most games would have already fixed all the very clear bugs that still go on daily, no matter what deck I use. Imp Tweek causing energy consumption incongruities and Thunderbird failing on first hit at least 50% of the time and quite often every time it attacks while over the enemy NK. But this isn't a normal game with normal devs. It's a game that is made to JUST be good enough to suck money in for the South Park name. There isn't a bunch of care and dedication put into this game. It's just a table full of monkeys making decisions using headless chickens and a giant wheel. If Trey Parker actually played the game and new about the abomination that 2 years of poor choices has revealed to the fans using the logic literally made fun of in the Terrance and Phillip mobile game episode he would have this thing taken down in a second. I would fire everyone from the project and start from scratch. They already have the core of a good game, they just need a better team.Originally Posted by Nousella Go to original post
There is so much they could do but my feeling really is that they hire programmers on fiverr and such whenever they need to make any implementation and that there isn't a proper team dedicated to game design and development.
I just checked their website and they are looking for a junior development tester specifically for SPPD, at least they know the team needs more brains..
