    nerfed hexfire still broken

Even with the nerf from the patch the hexfire still seems broken and almost game breaking. If you dont find one immediately then you have no chance. Of the countless games I've played so far I've never played one where the winning squad didnt have three Hexfires and at least 2 Skybreakers. It makes every other gun seem useless. the only one that can even come close to it is maybe the salvo but even that sits in the Hexfires shadow. One thought ive had on it is to slow the rate of fire or at least make the spread wider at distance. My last match was ended by being lasered by the Hexfire from like 200 meters. The fact that the spread was so tight that they were able to hit everything and wipe me out in like 2 seconds with a minigun is ridiculous. All of that being said, I do love the game. It has many great aspects including the movement and the hacks also make it kinda unique. I think they need to either A. nerf the Hexfire more and bring the damage down to 2 with a fully fused version maxing at 3. or B. try to take it out of the game permanently and see if there is really pushback on it. I dont think that removing it completely would cause too much of a problem and its at least worth seeing how the game balances out without it and what people chose to use instead.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the Hexfire changes. So on top of having damage nerf, do you think the spread also needs to be widened more? Or would just lowering the damage be enough to offset how irritating it can be to fight the Hexfire?

I believe that either one of those would be valid changes. I think that the damage being lowered is definitely worth trying as is the spread increase. I think that Ubisoft maybe sould try them in their closed environment and if one seems more effective than the other then push that to see if the community agrees. I dont think that this is going to be solved in 1 update. Its going to take some trial and error. It may end up being one or the other or it could end up being that both of those things need to happen to make it more balanced with the other weapons. The only other thing that i could think of would be maybe if the spawn rate of the Hexfire would be lowered meaning that less spawn on the map and maybe they are spread out more so that its A. harder to find one and B. harder to level it up as quickly as we saw in the test.
