I'm on pc and for me, there are no longer those freezes that would last up to a second, but there are occasional stutters.
I notice them, but they don't seem to happen as often and they don't usually effect game play unless I'm trying to do something very precise.
I still hear people on twitch from various platforms talking about it still happening and being frustrating.
The ghost theory is interesting, but it seems that ghost data should all be loaded into ram before a track even starts and drawing the data from ram shouldn't really cause stutters so...? (shrug)

I can only say why I’m playing rising a lot less than previous trials games.

the heart of trials since evo “Track Central” has been redesigned which turned this key to game longevity into a painful experience
the bugs that have existed and have been introduced since launch have been frustrating
just never got the feeling RL we’re going to address the areas of the game that were lacking from my perspective.

I think this is likely a big reason why many have stopped being as active, these days I only load trials up once or twice a month but end up turning it off within the hour because I just get too frustrated with the frame freeze making me loose good runs.

I can say without a doubt, Trials Rising plays perfectly in the PS5. I haven’t had ONE frame hang up or engine hiccup in hours of gameplay.
    I can’t believe it myself.
Core tracks, tracks central…no issues. Not a single hang.
