    My Issues With The Game

First off, I've played this game since it was first available as a Technical Test. I stream it regularly as well as post YouTube videos on this game. I can say I have a decent amount of hours to speak on some issues I think there is in this BR.

    1) Aim Assist with Controller feels absolutely broken

When I first started playing I didn't really notice controller players very much. As I continued playing into the days following I started noticing more players make the switch. Most of the information comes from checking the streams of people who killed me whenever I see a Twitch name. I decided to watch a couple of controller players I met along the way and shortly realized after watching them that it is absolutely crazy. I think the reason being for this is that this video game doesn't have any recoil in most of their automatic weapons (minigun, ripper.) I think this causes an issue where, on top of no recoil, aim assist becomes an issue. I don't know how you could potentially figure a fix for this but it definitely shows us an issue when it comes to cross-play or integrated controller support. Most people will reply to this and just say "oh get good controller is fine) but at the end of the day when you see the same issue being brought up by a lot of the bigger names in gaming, you have to come to the conclusion that something might be off about it.

    2) A lot of reloading/cranking bugs when you come out of sprint

I noticed that when you sprint or come out of a sprint that sometimes your gun reload becomes stuck or just won't budge unless you switch between weapons, which can be pretty irritating in a fight. I think this would be something that can be easily remedied and wouldn't be something that would be overlooked as I also see other players also having the same issue.

    3) ARMOR IS BROKEN AT END GAME

The go-to Hex is armor at the end of the game when the crown appears. Being able to stand still and continuously pop level 4 armor at the end is not a great way to lose to a game. I'm not a sore loser. If I lose to a better team at the end that's just the way it goes. But this seems like an absolutely absurd way to win or even getaway while in a fight. In my opinion I think this could be remedied by having a meter that breaks on enough damage done kind of how the ball reacts to gunfire. I think this would add a good balance as you'd still be forced to chase but you could potentially break the Hex with enough damage from a weapon.

    4) There is an imbalance in the weapons

There is already a meta in the game that is Minigun/Skybreaker. I think we've all seen enough posts about Minigun being way too imbalanced so I won't talk on it too much. 150+ ammo in a gun that doesn't have a cooldown for holding mouse 1 is absolutely absurd. On top of also not having to deal with any recoil makes this gun a W-key weapon and in most circumstances, it's too much. The Skybreaker I think has already told it's tale multiple times as well. I totally agree with guns at level 4 being VERY GOOD but the Skybreaker at level 4 should not do the damage it does on such a quick reload speed with no damage dropoff. Nothing is more aggravating than jumping from roof to roof to get to the battles than being 1 shot by a Skybreaker that's 300+ meters away from you. In a game where the TTK (time to kill) is so high it just doesn't seem to fit the playstyle. The only other gun I have a big gripe with is the Shotgun. The Shotgun (while being able to do a lot of damage) doesn't seem to hold it's own against the auto weapons that we see used more of, even at close range. With as much movement as this game has, it needs to be a little forgiving. Once again I'm going to have people say "JuSt HiT yOuR sHotS bRo" but the point is that in most cases you would rather opt for the minigun over a shotgun just for the sheer steady damage. The shotguns rate of fire I think is what causes the biggest problem. I understand that this gun is VERY DAMAGING when you hit your shots but with how movement is in this game it can be almost impossible during the end game where everyone has fully maxed out abilities. I think the only way to combat this and help make it fit in the playstyle is just to reduce the amount of damage it does and increase the rate of fire. That would at least be able to help keep up with the movement even if it is doing less damage per shot.

If anyone wants to add on or comment on some issues I've brought up I would definitely enjoy opinions. Please do not reply with comments that will just be overlooked like some that I've mentioned earlier. This whole thread is to report on issues we think need to be fixed/tweaked and these are all some I find to be at the top of the list. I also know there is quite a few bugs inside the game but most of them have already been reported on and I figured because these are Test Servers that those bugs will be fixed by the time the full release comes out.

Hey RAGEittv! Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback on the forums

Regarding controller aim assist, we are monitoring reports from players on the feel of aim abuse compared to normal KBM. I don't have any updates on that at the moment, but it is something we are keeping tabs on.

This has been reported to the team!

Regarding your feelings on the Hexfire, Skybreaker and Armor, do you still feel the same after the changes we did last night?

You are correct! The Shotgun is very strong so long as you are hitting your shots. However, that can be difficult for players given the amount of mobility in the game currently. Reducing the damage but increasing the rate of fire feels like a fair tradeoff to make the gun feel better to use against quicker movement.

The Hexfire and Skybreaker nerfs were definitely welcomed. The armor however is still too much. The cooldown and duration nerf still doesn't feel strong enough. One of the biggest issues at this point is people using Armor/Heal at end game and literally running outside in the lost sectors out of sight. I think something you could add to deal with this is when a sector gets lost, make it stay, and then by the time the 2nd wave hits you make the sectors before that drop off the map so people can't abuse this. They either die and the crown resets on a random spot on the sector still up or somehow creates a border that people inside can't pass.

Fortnite made it popular for ppl to complain about aim assist and controllers when they die, aim assist feels almost non existent in this game.

Armor is my favorite part of the game, i havent really had any issues with armor at the end of the game.

Hex and sky were both nerfed and it felt like they were in great spots

As mentioned in our recent post on Twitter, we are looking into ways to help limit the amount of cheese strategies like Armor/Heal in the Showdown and damage with the Decay!
