When it comes to endgame of Hyperscape, it feels more like a wild goose chase rather than a fight to the finish, like most battle royales are. As someone grabs the crown, they immediately dash for the collapsed sectors, and anyone without a sniper won't be able to contest them. However, this is a nice touch as it is a little dash of variety. Additionally, as contenders start to venture out to the "void" with the crown, anyone in the "zone" won't be able to contest them as their shots will start to not register and will be left in the dust. Please let me know if any of you are having this same problem as well. I can't tell you how many times it was me and the last team fighting, but then one guy just takes the crown and books it to the "void." It's aggravating as I just spent all those hard-earned kills for nothing.
If someone has max heal they just run into the void and have nothing happen to them. They can also have ball which makes them have a shield. By the time you catch up to the person with the crow you are either one-shot, get 3rd party or they have won already. Makes the game less fun than anticipated. Hopefully, something can happen to make the game more fun at the end.
It's so frustrating when i have an amazing game and somebody snags crown and runs into zone with a team that has 3 walls, a heal, and mines. I literally can't catch them before getting eaten by the zone and the other 20 players left in the zone. Crown wearer shouldn't even be allowed to go into the zone.
We have been looking into clips and discussions around players using cheesy starts with the Crown, like running into the Decay. I've seen the suggestion to either up the damage tick of the Decay, don't allow Crown Holders to use hacks, or don't allow Crown Holders to enter the decay at all. Which suggestion do you agree with the most?
Do not allow the crown into the decay at all, maybe like a 3 second rule or something incase you fall off a roof or slide into the decay.Originally Posted by UbiMorning Go to original post
I say don't let the crown holder into the zone at all. However, there should be a couple of seconds for them to get out just in case they do accidentally go into the Decay. Thank you for your input, glad to see Ubisoft is looking into suggestions.Originally Posted by UbiMorning Go to original post
I say to not allow players to go into the decay, and maybe add a countdown before they take lots of damage if the crown carrier enters the decay, also maybe make the crown carriers have abilities last half as long. Just a thought.Originally Posted by UbiMorning Go to original post
