Big feedback I’d really like you guys to check out!

    Hyper Scape Feedback
Hi I’ve been playing your game probably 12+ hrs each day of the beta and hope you take a look at this feed back please ty

    Hacks
Armor - I think armor right now is really strong and needs some nerfs, I think it’s duration is way to long for what it does. Especially combined with invisibility, if you have both maxed armor and maxed invis you can basically switch between the two none stop making killing people pretty much impossible if they know how to play both hacks well together. Also crown wearers with armor is pretty annoying which I’ll state in the crown section.
Invisibility- I think invisibility right now is pretty fair making good players with good movement able to escape sticky situations. Also I think invisibility is a great way to sneak up on players and get the first hit on them, but still while being invis you can still get hit. Invisibility is in a good spot right now.
Walls - I think walls right now should either be changed or deleted, the play style of walls I get it’s a defensive ability but when people can just spam them it becomes very annoying, especially with how much you have to do to take down a wall. Just feels annoying to play against. But I think the big change that needs to happen is I think you shouldn’t stand on the wall I know it sounds dumb but when a person with crown runs teleport and wall and can just go up in the sky non stop build walls under them and wait for the timer to run out there is like no counter play. You just lose. Myth has a pretty good clip of him winning this way.
Heal/Mine/Ball/Slam/Reveal - I think are perfect the way they are, they all have their good situations, maybe buff mine a bit because it’s pretty easy to escape and doesn’t do much damage.
TLDR - Armor is really strong definitely needs a look at, and walls are annoying, have way to much health and being able to stand on them, makes it possible to just win the end game by just spamming walls under you.

    Weapons
Hexfire - I think damage is perfectly fine the way it is, the only thing I think should change about this gun is the ammo/ clip count. 150 clip or 270 at max level just seems way to excessive, with a max hexfire you can probably kill 2-3 people without even reloading. I think 75 clip level 1 and 150 clip at max would be pretty balanced and maybe increase reload time too. This gun virtually makes ripper useless not saying ripper is bad but when you can have a 150 clip level 1 hexfire or a max 36 clip ripper it just makes ripper feel just not worth it especially when ripper hip fire/close range feels pretty bad. And I think close engagements are super fun in this game and with all the house and places to hide, why even take ripper at all.
Skybreaker - I think skybreaker definitely needs some damage tuning, this gun just does way to much damage and don’t get me wrong I know it only has 1 shot per clip but when that shot can do 75% of someone’s health and it does aoe damage makes this gun super strong. I think the best changes for this gun would be to nerf the damage a little bit and decrease the radius of the shot, making aiming much more important when using it. Instead of just having to shoot it in the vicinity of players.
Salvo - I know this might be a surprise but I think the damage and what this gun does is actually pretty balanced, I just think this gun should be a little more rare, being able to be unlucky with a drop and having an opposing team loot all salvo and just nade spamming you at the start is a pretty bad feeling. As for mid/late game I think it’s perfectly fine because there are plenty of good hacks and movement to be able to play around a salvo. It’s just that early game nade spam when you having nothing good looted yet just feels bad to me.
Protocol- For a fast pace game with hit scan this should not be a one shot gun, I know that it’s a sniper but I’ve had a lot of times where ill be having amazing games and when I’m mid fighting a squad some dude on a roof hits a shot on me and I’m dead no counter play or anything. Not saying it shouldn’t do no damage at all but I think it should do a max of 80-90% of someone’s health so the player has some sort of counter play. Just being able to die 100-0 just feels very demoralizing. I’d say the best changes would be to either lower the damage so it’s not a one shot or make it do half the damage but shoot faster kind’ve like the scout in Csgo and especially with hit scan I think this would be a good change.
Shotgun - all I’m gonna say is that this gun is super inconsistent, does either 5 damage or insta kills a player even with a max shotgun either feels great or just feels bad at times. Changes for this gun I’d say is remove the one shots but make it more consistent guaranteeing at least 20 damage when hitting a player, maxing out at 80-90 damage if it’s a headshot.

I think every other gun is pretty balanced, ripper is really good just needs hexfire to be nerfed to make it more of a viable option.

TLDR - Hexfire clip nerf, skybreaker damage/ radius nerf, sniper one shots feel bad when playing against it and shotgun Is super inconsistent.

    CROWN GAME
As for the crown game I think it’s a great concept and a different take on battle royals, but has a lot of flaws.

    1. Storm/destroyed zone needs to do way more damage to whoever is wearing the crown, I’d say 30%-50% a tick to whoever wears the crown, I’ve lost games because people will grab crown and just run into destroyed zones and win the game because they can just heal through it.
    2. Hacks like walls and armor makes killing the crown wearer almost impossible whether it be armor/teleport spam or wall/teleport spam into the sky just makes the crown/late game feel so bad. I think if you hold the crown you should be at some disadvantage since it gives you a way to win the game without having to kill the rest of players. Increase hack cool down or that player takes increased damage the longer they have held the crown would be good.
    3. I think one last change that I came up with that I think would be cool to the crown game is have a dome or walls/ sky barrier appear around the final zone so people can’t just cheese it with going up in the sky or running out the zone.

You don’t have to do all these changes just wanted to give feedback on this game since I’ve been super addicted and have played this game a ton the past few days and really love the fast paced concept on a battle royale. Thanks I’d love to hear what you guys think!

Wow! You are obviously really enjoying the game a lot to play for so long :P

Armor did get a hack duration nerf and increased cooldown with the patch yesterday. How are you feeling about it since then?

Invisibility- I think invisibility right now is pretty fair making good players with good movement able to escape sticky situations. Also I think invisibility is a great way to sneak up on players and get the first hit on them, but still while being invis you can still get hit. Invisibility is in a good spot right now.
I think Invisibility by itself is in a good place for now. It is pretty strong when paired with Armor, but I think the cooldown changes should help with that.

Walls - I think walls right now should either be changed or deleted, the play style of walls I get it’s a defensive ability but when people can just spam them it becomes very annoying, especially with how much you have to do to take down a wall. Just feels annoying to play against. You just lose. Myth has a pretty good clip of him winning this way.
We have been looking into situations where players are abusing Wall, especially in cases of the Showdown.

Hexfire - I think damage is perfectly fine the way it is, the only thing I think should change about this gun is the ammo/ clip count. 150 clip or 270 at max level just seems way to excessive, with a max hexfire you can probably kill 2-3 people without even reloading. And I think close engagements are super fun in this game and with all the house and places to hide, why even take ripper at all.
I have seen a few suggestions on nerfing the ammo count for the Hexfire. It has a ton of ammo available at max Fusion.

With the recent patch, we did nerf the damage levels a bit. Do you think this was enough of a change to the damage?

Salvo - I know this might be a surprise but I think the damage and what this gun does is actually pretty balanced, I just think this gun should be a little more rare, being able to be unlucky with a drop and having an opposing team loot all salvo and just nade spamming you at the start is a pretty bad feeling. It’s just that early game nade spam when you having nothing good looted yet just feels bad to me.
I don't see too many people asking to nerf the drop rate of stuff normally. I think that is because it is fairly easy to find most things fairly quickly. We did just reduce the damage slightly so the gun is not a 4-hit kill anymore. Do you think it is still a solid weapon after this?

Protocol- For a fast pace game with hit scan this should not be a one shot gun, I know that it’s a sniper but I’ve had a lot of times where ill be having amazing games and when I’m mid fighting a squad some dude on a roof hits a shot on me and I’m dead no counter play or anything. The Protocol is getting a lot of love in the form of cool trickshots. I do think it is a little starting to be headshot out of nowhere. I think the Echo state allows you to inform your teammates where they are so they can at least try to fight back and bring you back afterward, but it would be nice to have something happen before you completely die.

Shotgun definitely hits hard as long as you hit your shots, but that can be difficult. When you say make it more consistent, do you mean adjusting the spread of the gun?

Storm/destroyed zone needs to do way more damage to whoever is wearing the crown, I’d say 30%-50% a tick to whoever wears the crown, I’ve lost games because people will grab crown and just run into destroyed zones and win the game because they can just heal through it.
I do agree that the Decay should do more damage per tick in general. I think this is especially important for the Showdown, since players are starting to just run out into the zone and use Armor or Heal to sustain themselves.
Great suggestion! I have had people suggest that the Crown Wearer should not be able to use Hacks all together, but I think that is quite a harsh nerf to the Crown itself. Less people would be likely to go for it because it gives up a lot of mobility options.
I think one last change that I came up with that I think would be cool to the crown game is have a dome or walls/ sky barrier appear around the final zone so people can’t just cheese it with going up in the sky or running out the zone.
This was another idea I had thought of as well. I think the Crown Wearer should not have the option to go into the Decay zone if there weren't any cooldowns or removal of Hacks of some sort. This keeps all the action in one space and makes it more entertaining.

I appreciate you taking the time to write everything out!

"Armor did get a hack duration nerf and increased cooldown with the patch yesterday. How are you feeling about it since then?"

    - I think the nerf was definitely a great change makes killing people/ crown wearers feel much better, than just a hassle as it was before. Great change!

"With the recent patch, we did nerf the damage levels a bit. Do you think this was enough of a change to the damage?"

    - The damage of the skybreaker being nerfed was quite a nice change! I would like to say though that maybe would be nice to have the radius reduced to make people actually have to worry about aiming at people more closely would be nice, seeing it shot at you and sliding away and still getting hit kinda feels bad or maybe reduce the radius but increase the projectile speed so the attacker can precisely land the shots on the target, but the radius is small enough so that the target would still be able to get out the way with a quick slide or a double jump. Just a thought!

"I don't see too many people asking to nerf the drop rate of stuff normally. I think that is because it is fairly easy to find most things fairly quickly. We did just reduce the damage slightly so the gun is not a 4-hit kill anymore. Do you think it is still a solid weapon after this?

    - I have played a bunch after the patch and would like to say that salvo is in a pretty good spot, using it still feels fine, but also playing against it (with it not being a 4-shot kill no more) gives players an extra 2-3 seconds of being able to escape situations if they are caught in a corners/indoors. I have no complaints with this gun as I have had no issues using the new version of it or it being used on me. Didn't need the damage nerf, but good change nonetheless.

"Shotgun definitely hits hard as long as you hit your shots, but that can be difficult. When you say make it more consistent, do you mean adjusting the spread of the gun?"

    - I will say after I posted my feedback I have used the Mammoth quite a bit, I actually found a great build that incorporates the shotgun and invis and find myself actually running shotgun almost every game, averaging 15 kills a game just using this gun. So id like to say the damage is really good if you do hit your shots, but I feel like the low end hits of 5 (body) or 7 (headshot) damage can feel like a wasted hit, feels like old fortnite pump and hitting that 9 damage. But overall I think the gun is really good, if you want to change it I have no objections, but its in a good state right now, I have had a really fun time using it more!

As for the end/crown game, I can't wait to see what changes you guys make to it as it does need quite a few, with how much people can cheese winning the end game.

Lastly, thanks for the reply, love to hear back from you guys makes playing the game feel much better knowing that I can try and help out with suggestions here and there.
Can't wait for the official launch with it being down for a couple days is gonna suck but as long as you guys do your thing and make the game even better than it is than take your time!
