Hi Ubi, im nate callsign Nomad4590 on pc. Alike others in this forum and thread i do also have ideas how this game can greatly improve even with the current ingame mechanics, this is my take...
There has to be more customisation options and content, we need it drastically!!! (People missed nout on the scuba gear, released during the alpha and beta testing, and most likely all together after that. In terms of content more attire that allows you to blend into the environment better..if you want to look more civilian and less military/tactical etc. BUT also allow us to wear helmets with masks and gas masks, make them functional to the gas grenades seen in the assault class or smoke screen used in the panther class..we should have the ability to change the colours/textures of shemags and wrapped shemags as well as create operators that look and feel like tier 1 operators or SF units. Pvp reward content should also be accessible to groups of players that wish to play with friends and not get constantly murdered by cheaters, hackers, or insanely experienced players ie. For players who dont really play pvp much due to the insanity of the community in pvp games its very mhch impossible for new players, inexperienced players or even players who just play pve and want to gain loot to even win against these types of players. This also goes for the raid majority of the community has either spent insane amounts of hours to complete raids with mates or randoms, HOWEVER raids need to be toned down to allow all of us the entire community, even those who have/have not finished the raids entirely and given up due to time constraints, frustration and fatigue to still be challenged but achieveable to complete without spending 6 or 8 hours of your life constantly dying repeatedly from bosses and restarting.
Within the pve community even having bigger amounts of enemies in groups and bases, a need for players and enemies to make use of their tanks and APC's (combine them with roaming patrols of 8 or 10 soldiers in a group, with more frequent encounters of heavy enemy platoons or squads). makes for more realistic and drastic gameplay. The thought of being overwhelmed in an intense firefight with heavy armour, and constant suppression from bigger amounts of enemies is exciting. Outcast support as seen in wildlands with rebel support plays a bigger role in supporting the player and leveling the playing field to allow for more bigger confrontations, conflicts and random engagements. (Outcasts should set up mortar positions and be made available after a 20 sec countdown once deployed, to allow for limited fire support with the option of smoke shells to allow you to quickly escape or gas shells to clear out insane bases. Regardless artillery support should be fierce, devastating and deadly. Smoke grenades should be available and thick to allow for role play based gaming with markers but also to set up for an escape. Different ammo types for all weapons (FMJ, AP, tracer etc) should be available at shops in erewhon and found amoungst dead soldiers.
There also needs to be a huge overhaul of the civ_peds and their interactions with sentinel (have heavy roaming convoys of collected homesteaders or outcasts being transported to detention facilities, prisons, bases or even put to work in orchard fields etc. Show more human interaction of peds being forced from homes in residences, lined up against walls, stationary convoys more soldiers within civilian residences, bases, towns etc. And on/off road traffic of civilian and military cars) and mobile checkpoints. Stealth should work in a way that disguises made available by costumes allow you to sneak your way to the objective and infiltrate the area, or all NPCs and Civ_Peds show more human behaviour and sleep during the evening with minimal security at night. Arial night patrols of choppers use their lights, and fly slower to increase their chances of finding your player and not aimlessly just flying around the island. A variation of more choppers for a lighter,stealthier approach, or fast, tactical instertion with quick and a fearful fast rope should be available.
The environment should cater for more realistic shooting sound and visual effects both upclose or far away for types of suppressors, muzzle flashes and bullet whizzing. We should have tactical strobe flashlights and IR lasers/ flashlights as well as environment and cover destruction. And greater damage and impacts by guns to vehicles, walls, and gore.
lastly we need the introduction of the last island and must be accessible for normal quests/missions and harder enemy types...with a mission creator that allows all the ghosts to create custom missions outside of the main story line. With all this i feel there would be more immersion for both single and coop modes, and more of an equal chance of completing the game outside of the main story missions and raids.
