Recalibration Library - adding/replacing a better percentage Talent

I am new to the forum and have played Division 1 and recently started with Division 2 (solo) and I have a question about the Recalibration library.
I had extracted the talent Reformation "Headshots grant +30% skill repair for 15s" from a Marksman Rifle.
Later in the game I got a Marksman rifle with a better percentage Reformation talent "Headshots grant +40% skill repair for 15s" and I marked it for recalibration, however it will not come up in the recalibration library to extract because it shows that the 30% is already in the Library in the right hand box.
The attribute from this Marksman rifle does pop-up to extract because I did mark it for recalibration, so it's doesn't look like the status of this rifle doesn't let me extract.

I didn't know if Attributes or Talents where extracted "forever" or one time use and found out that I could apply the Core Attribute 47% headshot damage to multiple Marksman Rifles.
I can't find a delete option either for a Talent.

I searched already on Google and Youtube, without success, The only thing I can come up with is that this Marksman Rifle has a name, I have also a shotgun that has a name RockNRoll from which i would like to extract the Talent Perfectly Extra but that Talent is not even visible in the Library to extract and in the Recalibration Station it shows This slot cannot be calibrated.
So....is it about the names that won't let you extract or does anyone have a tip for me how you can extract or replace the better percentage Talent.

Perfect (Yellow) Talents can not be extracted. Same for yellow attributes (from named items). You also can't extract anything from Exotics.

Most mechanics are not really described in game, so I can imagine it's hard for new folks to figure out if something is intended or not. Feel free to pop in here and ask in case you find some odd stuff.

I used the joke to my non-Division buddies that the Division 1 and 2 were the first games I ever had that I needed to go on the internet or YouTube just to learn how to PLAY, not a walk-thru or map or secret room or anything like that.

Yes indeed it was thanks to YouTube that I had to find out to do all 3 missions at Kenly College from each location in one go, before proceeding to the next location, costed me solo some time but hey I finally got my first exotic gun, pretty happy with that diamondback rifle
