Balance Feedback
Hi,
Just wanted to give some feedback on the balance of the game.
I think the game has a huge problem of balance right now. The very huge health bar creates that problem where only a few guns become useful. The shotgun and the Gatling machine gun are obviously more popular among the other players and it becomes frustrating when the only guns people use are those two. because they clearly are the most effective.
I enjoy playing with different styles of gameplay and guns, but at the current moments, it's not viable. I just keep losing all my encounters when I choose other guns. the other guns, at this point clearly, need way more power and or speed or some sort of nerf to the two guns. Making the health bar smaller would also help in my opinion.
It's just not enjoyable and very frustrating to play because I feel forced into a specific style and it doesn't allow me to play more various styles and still have a chance to get a few kills which kinda goes against the goal of a BR game.
Thank you.

What kind of nerfs are you hoping to see for the Mammoth and Hexfire? I've seen more discussions that the Mammoth should be buffed rather than nerfed. We have also publicly mentioned that we are looking into nerfing the Hexfire.

Actually, after thought, I personally would kind of buff and nerf de mammoth in two specific areas. I think buffing the fire spread of the shotgun would make the gun less frustrating to use and play against because like I said in my other thread, it's annoying when the damage changes super quick from high to low damage in a close distance and for new players, it just seems super inconsistent. I would lower the fire spread, to make the damage a bit more consistent across distance.
For the same gun, I would also lower a little bit(nerf) the max damage that it makes just so it gives a chance for other weapons to also compete.

For the hexfire, honestly, it's just super frustrating and idk what makes it soo overpowered, but I think there might be two logical routes to go about it.
lower the damage..which is self-explanatory, or lower the fire rate which just makes the weapon kill slower so it gives other weapons a chance...
Honestly, idk if the second option is viable since lowering the fire rate might go against what the weapon is all about, so yeah, just an idea.

Hey! Do you have any change in thoughts after the recent Hexfire changes?
I think a good chunk of players agree that the Mammoth does quite a bit of damage as long as you can hit your shots. Tightening the spread a little bit would be nice, but I personally don't play with shotguns very often. I think if the team were to tighten the spread, nerfing the damage would also be a good combo.
