Metro, sink hole and solar farm are known areas for multiple groups joining your CP clear. Many including myself enjoy that intense gameplay at times. Anyway there is absolutely no penalty for dying and respawn in CP clears all the loot remains. If the amount of (work) involved for reward is your issue don't farm that section. Loot quality is a another issue and needs another pass from the devs.
You might want to look in the mirror. People enjoying the gameplay and difficulty (loot is a separate issue) have no reason to post. Point being, whether a game is too hard is entirely subjective.Originally Posted by darkzone_RO Go to original post
You know there is an option for difficulty... right? I honestly start to believe that some people do not know there is such an option.Originally Posted by darkzone_RO Go to original post
All of you whiners already caused a major nerf in the NPCs and made the game a yawn fest again. Just learn to use the options that have been there from the start and go back down to the level you belong. It really isn't a rocket science -- if you struggle, you go down in difficulty.
Oh Yeah! That drives me crazy!darkzone_RO...
I had such experience at Sink Hole control point, one elite resource convoy, one elite patrol, another resource convoy from the other side of CP, some regular patrol who shot us in the back from the other side of the fence, so what had to be ended in 10-12 minutes took us (team of three) around half an hour.
The Red Dragon CP is notorious for that mess at Level 5. It's right at an intersection too. I was running it solo one time and all that went down. I swear I was fighting it out for at least a good solid hour.
This works the other way around too! If you own both Sinkhole and Solar Farm and then start a Heroic bounty in that area there's a very good chance friendly convoys will join in the fight. I just finished one where I had a dozen (!) friendly AIs on my side, fighting the Black Tusk. The True Sons decided to pop in too for more mayhem.Originally Posted by pob709 Go to original post
This also immediately invalidates any claim that this game would not be able to handle a friendly AI in your team (as replacement for human co-op). Game works just fine with large groups of combatants (both friendly and enemy).
Whether difficult or easy IMO is not the problem with this game. I play at challenging difficulty (could go to heroic in some missions) for the most part as that seems to be the sweet spot for this not so talented player, everything else is the problem: Loot system, over diversified gear, two many useless weapons, lack of new content, replayability of existing content...............and so on.
Oh, and right now I am playing other games until this thing get's fixed.
People doesn't play the game anymore. At least, not at the same level as before TU 10, that's for sure. And, I could ask you to show me where I said the game is too hard. Don't bother to look for such statement, it doesn't exist because I never said this.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post

Again, for you too, show me where I said the game is too hard. I think you can't make the difference between "hard" and "abnormal". I'm not struggling at all, I'm fine with the game, even in this broken state. If I couldn't manage the content, I wouldn't have reached SHD 1500+ by now, mostly alone. So, please, stop with this nonsense.Originally Posted by Deathlyhearts Go to original post
My problem is with those who claim the game is too easy, because it's not. It's not impossible either, nor very hard, I can manage the content without big problems, but here is not about me. It's about other players who already leaved the game or will leave soon due to few simple issues mentioned earlier that developers won't address, despite the fact they are game breaking in many cases. I'm used to those issues, I've learned to ignore them, but sometimes they are too irritating.
Let me explain on short:
Those are not issues per se, but are maintained in the game to artificially rise the difficulty level because those developers from Massive haven't any clue how to balance the game properly, the same problem that plagued the first game until v1.8 which, by the way, was made by another studio who had to came in to show to those amateurs how is made the real things. This is the biggest issue actually. Play the first game and then compare with this one, you'll see a huge difference between them. In the first game you can take a few bullets without be downed, in this one you can't take more than two because the NPCs burst fire is insanely high, extremely accurate and with no drop-off damage, that's why people are complaining, not because the game is too hard. The unfair behavior of NPCs having all advantages that game provides is the issue here. We have to play by the rules but NPCs doesn't follow those rules, they have to follow the scripts no matter what, even by breaking the rules. If you consider as normal that an NPC can come from the other side of the map through a bullets rain from an LMG without seek for cover like he's walking in the park and, in the same time, he manage to shoot at you with surgical precision, well, this is your opinion, but it's wrong. It's not normal at all.
i hope you get the anger issues under control or figured out, really does not sound healthy beeing triggered like that. seek help, seriouslyOriginally Posted by P5YCHOT1C Go to original post
And where did I claim you did? I was addressing (and quoted) your attack on deltium. Just because *you* have an opinion on the game doesn't mean its automatically shared by "millions" - that's the point.Originally Posted by darkzone_RO Go to original post
Thats the problem with it being an RPG based game and not a real life like shooter. In games like COD or Rainbow SIx Siege, weapons kill in a few bullets more like their real life counterparts.Originally Posted by darkzone_RO Go to original post
In Div 2 that isnt the case, enemies/weapons/gear all have different levels. Be under geared for the level of the enemy you are facing and it will result in the situation you describe.
Be over geared, or play in a much lower level, and you will one shot him as soon as he leaves cover.
I know its difficult for a lot of people to accept, if I shoot someone in the face from close range with any shotgun that guy should die instantly, but that is not this game.
Its not wrong at all within the RPG type of game its trying to be.
Its just harder to believe than in , say a fantasy based/magic/swords type of game, as you can justify a made up monster taking large amounts of hits/damage due to thick skin or whatever.
You can either suspend your sense of belief and accept that a T-shirt wearing guy can walk through a hail of bullets or you cant.
If you build correctly, you can still 1 shot most named elites on heroics, you can still set whole rooms of enemies on fire/bleeding etc. etc.
And at SHD 1500+ you should be able to get your LMG to a place where it will destroy that guy just walking toward you anyway.
