Once again though: elo alone doesnt really give you the full picture.

Its like my team: we are in silver league but with fewer and fewer members. This means we rarely upgrade our cards to even decent levels. So if you face me in TW I will be somewhere around 8k but I will be rocking level 1 or level 2 legendaries, 3 or possibly 4 epics, and so on

To be honest, we are still doing faily well. Probably since a lot of the other silver teams are like us or worse. I just fear the day when we might step into gold league, because Im pretty sure most teams there are not full of inactive players. Reminds me of the episode where the boys are playing Little League baseball, only to realize that all of a sudden the teams are really good

By working on improving oneself, getting better leveled cards, learning how to use them effectively, grow your NK to higher levels, and work up the PVP ladder ranks. Yes, it takes time, and it's a grind, but eventually it will pay off, as you (or your teammate in this case) start winning more TW matches. Of course, it would be ideal for this growth to take place within lower leagues. To be so low SR and try to fight in Gold League is just a recipe for disaster. If he wants to stay on the team, he will need to just accept he will not be able to contribute significantly towards the team score for a long time, as he works on improving.
