    Hexfire Changes

The Hexfire is undoubtedly one of the best guns in Hyperscape. For this reason It's very frustrating to be chased down by someone using it on you point blank. It doesn't make sense that someone using this gun should be able able to keep up with a player using a smaller gun. While shooting the Hexfire you should experience a slowing effect until you stop shooting. This would limit the amount of Hexfire spam I see in almost every game as well as add balance to a gun that desperately needs it. Plenty of other games have this effect and it makes sense in this game especially. This change is a great alternative to a damage or ammo nerf and I hope it gets implemented.

Not a bad idea. If you use the Hexfire, your movement speed is cut by 25% and your jump height is also reduced 25%. I think that would be pretty fair, and maybe reduce the massive mag size.

agreed, i played a bunch of solo and squad games today and all i could see in the kill feed was hex, hex ,hex....there needs to be something to deter players from using it 100% of the time.

    higher recoil while strafing
    larger accuracy cone
    speed reduction
    lower mag size

    etc

    I dunno

I can agree that sometimes the hexfire can be op (even tho i can easily beat anyone using hexfire with a ripper). I feel like we also have to pay attention to skybreaker wich in my opinion is a6tleast top 2 in the weapons category. it litearlly shreds people. Theres is a reason why people use hexxfire with it' It's because it's bbecause it makes all enemys one hp for clean up. Also feel like protocal v (sniper) should be buffed. Don't think they should slow you down with hexfire only make the recoil worse.

We have noticed the Hexfire has been at the focal point of balancing discussions. We stated on our AMA with the core team that they are looking into making balancing changes to the Hexfire. I saw suggestions to add a wind-up time or reducing the damage overall.

I'd apply 1st point and also a movement penalty like someone said above. The rest seem way too much
