Crash to desktop after trying to launch game | Forums

When ever I try and launch the game the intro video pops up in the top left of my screen without audio. After the video plays, the window closes and the game never launches.
My PC is an
Acer Aspire F5-573G
the specs are;
Windows 10 Home 64-bit O/S, X64 based processor

GeForce GTX 950M

Driver Version 451.48

Intel Core i5-7200 CPU@2.50GHz(2.70GHz)

Installed Memory (RAM) 8 GB (7.87 GB usable)
Has anybody found a solution for this?

I have the same problem.
Acer Aspire VX15, windows 10, 64b...
I have played SH5 many times and many hours before this problem.

Yup same issue for me, ubisoft logo with sound, then loading screen gets to about 25% loaded then crash to desktop, tried setting game to windows 7 and admin mode, made no difference.

I can load a wayyyy old save.. but that's about it.. none of my 'further' along saves are working. so f'n much for their (cloud) save system. very disappointed with these 'professional' software companies. Everything they do lately tends to lean toward pissing on their customers.
