Before I buy WONY and they fix TU10, I would like to stay on Heroic permanently in Washington and need to test out my current build. I would be running as a solo player so any suggestions for a mission that you think is the easiest on Heroic and also a mission that's the toughest on Heroic?
I've run Level 5 Control Points which I think is the equivalent of "Heroic" so it's not totally alien to me on this difficulty setting. And I wouldn't be doing these for the rewards (damn you TU10), just curious if I can hang with my current all red CHC/CHD AR/Rifle build.
Thanks.
Depends on your build and it's all a bit subjective but generally speaking, DARPA, Tidal Basin and Manning (invaded) should give you the hardest challenge. The other ones that I found harder are Pentagon, then other strongholds invaded (Capitol Building, Roosevelt, DUA), Camp White Oak invaded and Conney Island missions.
For the easiest not sure. Excluding strongholds alltogether as well as those harder mission I mentioned above, I'd say all missions are more or less at the same difficulty level. Lilcoln Memorial is famous for being one of the quickest and I personally find Federal Emergency Bunker and DCD headquarters to be a bit easier than average, for solos that is.
What AR and Rifle are you using, what skills and talents did you chose?
Weapons - G36 (Strained - CHD), M1A (Ranger - Bonus Damage), Grenade Launcher (for Bonus Turret Damage & Frag Grenades)LightKola...

Gear - 3 Providence (HS,CHC,CHD), 1 Fenris (AR Damage), Contractor Gloves (Armor Damage), Fox Prayer Kneepads (Rifle & Out Of Cover Damage)
Gear Talents - Unbreakable (Instant Armor) and Vigilance (Bonus Weapon Damage)
Skills - Assault Turret and Fixer Drone
I bet. I assumed any Black Tusk missions would be a handful. Warhounds are the worst.LightKola...

Cool, thanks. I'll try those out first then.LightKola...

Cool, sounds like a solid build. Yeah Manning invaded is tough but I can't tell how much really as I've only ever done it twice. Once solo normal to get rid of the invasion and once on heroic with a full party and the mortar were bugged. I think that's still an issue btw.
If you do DARPA, for the upload phase with the drones, I'd recommend equiping a jammer pulse, even if it's just for that part. If you wait for all 4 of the drones to come out, you will kill them in one charge everytime. Well, I've only done it with a technician specialization which gives you 1 skill tier but I don't think it would be an issue at skill tier 0. It will also help you deal with the warhounds of that area. It's not a necessity but it will make your life easier for that part.
Thanks for the compliment. Here's hoping it serves me well.LightKola...

I've never used the pulse in Division 2 yet. I better check out my mods for that skill too. Thanks for the heads up.LightKola...

Haha yeah I know the feeling. i first used it when I got interested into doing Legendary and I heard about CC build with jammer pulse and firefly blinder. I remember first time I used it I didn't know you could charge it I had no idea how to use it. Which makes me think that yeah, you wanna charge it, just press the button for the skill and you'll see the range expand to reach its max, then let go and boom.Originally Posted by rustyangel13 Go to original post
Let me know how those missions go btw, and good luck!
The easiest 2 I can think of is Grand Washington because It's the first mission in the game (I think) and DCD is easy too because it is mostly closed in areas and rooms much like Grand Washington. The hardest that I have found is Roosevelt because I can complete the other strongholds everytime but Roosevelt gives me sh*t and it's so fliipin' long and a lot of open spaces for getting flanked.
Roosevelt is not amongst the easiest that's true and I can see how it could be considered as one of the hardest in Washington DC but have you tried solo heroic on DARPA, Manning invaded or even Tidal Basin?Originally Posted by IgotNerfed Go to original post
