    This is a general warning:

    Code:
    [2020/12/27 20:11:58] - Warning! -
You seem to be on a private network.
Unless you have configured your router,
other players on internet will not be
    able to join in...
Normally when the client uses 2350 so its better to add in the dedicated_config file a number which is higher then that.
To really check if the port is open https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

Also you need to redirect probably also in the modem the ports. Some ISP's have blocked external ports to my knowledge.

For instance i use Ziggo(NLD) as ISP and in there modem i have to forward all ports to the router/bridge i setup with dd-wrt. Inside dd-wrt i had again to redirect it to the ipadress of the pc to make it work.

on the yougetsignal.com if you are not running the server it will say port closed which is true because you are not using it.

The port specified in the dedicated_config is open. But it doesn't help.

This does not help, this version has long been installed.

Any working ideas? The port is open and pinging as to why the server is issuing a "You seem to be on a private network. Unless yo........." warning. Maybe you should dig into the work of this test? Maybe there's something crooked?

In real stores, if the goods are faulty, they return money for it and apologize. In a digital store, ubisoft for some reason does not work. We also work as testers of an underdog product for our own money. It's kind of wrong.

Friends, I managed to play normal on my server! But only when connected from an external IP address.
This message has not gone away, although the server port has been dropped and is pinging:
    Code:
    [2020/12/27 20:11:58] - Warning! -

I will explain. On my local network with static external IP is a computer with a LINUX server, on which a web server with a site is installed, a TMUF server and a tortured TM2020 server. In the same local network is a gaming computer. From this computer, the game on the TMUF server is turned on without problems. The game on the server is TM2020 started, but it is impossible to play, the track is shown, but the car does not appear and does not start:
    Spoiler:  Show

Other players play seamlessly on both TM servers. And I myself, when connecting a gaming computer through an external IP (through a cellular network), can play on a TM2020 server.
It is clear that you need to somehow configure transport on the local network, but I do not succeed. Maybe someone will help

On other servers from the gaming computer, I can play through the LAN without any problems.

The warning is a general warning, everyone gets that, the issue could be however that you have a firewall that is blocking static external ip connection.

Try to see add in windows firewall exceptions for TM2020, or if you use general configuration and you start the server on port 2350 it is the same port the client uses.

    @Sokol.relax

In my mind, your setup should work just fine from both the internet and your LAN network as long as your TM2020 server instance is bound to 0.0.0.0.

If it doesn't, then something fishy is probably going on with your linux server or router or gaming pc, no idea.

For the gaming computer on the router, ports 2350-2352, 3450-3452 are dropped. All other 1-65535 ports have been dropped for the server computer. Firewalls are disabled on the server and gaming PC. TMNF servers are configured on ports 2353 and 3453. The server is TM2020 configured on ports with 2353. It's all pinging. I did it all at once. No effect. The gaming PC works with the TMNF server, does not work with the TM2020 server on the local network. Playing on external TM2020 servers without problems. Other players connect to my servers without problems.

I don't understand how to do this?

I'm referring to the server config options "force_ip_address" or "bind_ip_address". Though I have never had to specifically set them since normally in a dedicated server scenario the autodetected values are correct, but in your case you're playing from the same LAN so it might have to be manually bound to 0.0.0.0 so that both LAN and Internet connections work properly.

Though you can still somehow connect to the server, partially, so it might be a problem with ports instead, no idea, difficult to diagnose remotely through few forum posts. Maybe it's windows firewall, who knows.

This is definitely not a Windows firewall, I turned it off right away. I tried "force_ip_address" and "bind_ip_address". It didn't help.
I tried to watch netstat, open all the ports that the TM listens to on a gaming PC. It didn't help.
Here's what I noticed on the server PC. The old TMNF opens port < xmlrpc_port>my port </xmlrpc _ port > to an external network. The new TM2020 leaves this port locally on 127.0.0.0. Maybe, therefore, I partially connect to the TM2020 server through the local network, the TMNF server is fully accessible. I poke like a blind kitten, I mean zero
