    Vile mask on EP build , your opinion?

    i´ve been using it in an EP build wit 4 pieces and one china light for the xtra xplosive damage and with demo spec.

    but last night i traded the china with a golan for added 10% status and some more armour and changed to technician for the extra skill tier and im wondering if i should trade the vile with another golan piece with skill tier rolled for even more armour regen , 1% armour regen.

    the damage the vile does , especialy without the demo spec and china piece is so small i cant feel its worth it.

    i mean i do think it's kinda nice free damage, the fact that it scales with explosive damage is the weirdest part

    I have an EP Firestarter build, and I intend to stick the Vile mask on it as soon as I get it...

    It scales with status fx too but i feel 80k for 10 seconds is small .

    I used vile mask with a cc build 3 China light and 2 wyvern wear. Using blinder and pulse/shock traps depending on room, my damage normally prior to vile was average 320k my damage using vile was 930k. So if you are able to apply status to multiple enemies which is the purpose of eclipse protocol to begin with, vile mask actually accounts for a decent chunk of damage. This was legendary DUA mission stats.

    It is. But multiply that times every enemy you affect. Literally millions of damage for free

    but i use it with chem launcher mainly so im uncertain that the damage the mask does , which is less than a third of the damage the launcher does, isnt easily surpassed by having even more status fx like with golan with the bonus of having armour regen.

    my main problem with it is that the EP set doesnt seem to extend the debuff when it spreads so having that damage on the burn itself that lasts longer and its extended by the set sounds better if not the same with the added protection from golan armour regen.

    got to test a bit more but i was just looking out for some opinions.

    Mask: Vile

    Status effects also apply a damage over time debuff for 10s
    Total damage dealt is equal to 50% of your concussion grenade damage and increased by your status effect attributes

    So to me this means use concussion nade and that spec. It also tells me to roll everything se and sd. I'd probably use this with my HE status build and use trap, oxidizer, chem fire, stinger, sticky fire, and use pesi or perfect perpetuation or just perpetuation on lmg. One thing to test is how well it spreads with creeping death. I heard they dont work together where as imperial holster and creeping death do.

    Eclipse protocol 4 piece chest and BP would go well with this. May be use sticky fire, chem fire, trap, with same weapons above.

    I see these as status effect builds only so to me it's about spreading the se to all. Now I dont have the vile but I use 4 ep with chest, imperial holster and wyvern bp with creeping death. And I burn everything. Everything is always on se. Pick an lmg with ignited, or pesi and perfect perpetuation as 2nd. Your team will breeze.

    Now if you find yourself carrying the team in se and dps. Leave and dont look back.

    that detail about having to actualy carry the concussion nade... i gotta try that and see the diference , thanks.

    also small tip , the burn damage from the holster isnt worth it because its very low compared to any other burn damage , now the the flamethrower that is a diferent story , the burn tick on that is monstruous , try that.

    Yeah i use flame spec with that build too. I will sacrifice a little less burn tick to keep spreading the se.

    It's all about the se. Keeping the NPCs in se.
