So basically, every time I play single player or co-op, a weird dialogue activates as soon as I get in the game. Basically, it’s like my character is stuck in a mission he hasn’t even started.
The worst thing about this is that (my theory) this is preventing me from using rebel support, which is gamebreaking. I don’t want to spend the whole game invading an area just to fly a helicopter.
If anyone knows how to help me please comment.
The dialogue when I start the game goes something like this: “Oh looks like _______ left some for us.”
Then a random npc voice that’s not even present near me starts saying something as if he were scared.
Then I say to shut it...10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 happymod
If certain mission wasn't finished in previous session, rebel support will become unavailable until it is. El Sueno and black op Oracle are known for this behavior and there's no safe way to cancel or postpone them after you have to shoot your way out. In addition to rebel powers being unavailable, rebels can be hostile to player, which is what happens if you spawn or fast travel to a rally point.
Only fix for this is just finishing what you previously started.
Game remembers all previous sessions, so it's possible this wasn't from the most recent play session. Timed missions like Operation Watchman and Silent spade also need to be finished as soon as possible if they were interrupted, cancelled or time ran out because timer can still run in the background. Hope this helps.
