His second light is stupidly OP (hyperarmor, janky animation, high range, 15 damage, the first light's stunlock prevents dodging the second light), massive damage, possibly the best spacing in the game (his heavies are so badly made that they have +1 meter range, you are hit even if the sword misses you), very low recoveries, the highest punishes with one of the bests out of stamina pressure the game has. He is a typical out of box character like Shinobi. You have a hard time balancing something as absurd as his offensive stance: you either can't enter at all and it sucks like pre ccu, or you can enter basically anytime like now, and then it is OP. Right now, he is probably in the top 10 heroes in duels, maybe even higher in 4v4.
We all have a different experience with each hero, that's why your opinion matters.

You are right for the second light attack (not enhanced). Weird animation with instant uninterruptible it's strong and if you add CCU + latency with that, it's hard to deal with it.

Massive damages? He doesnt exceed 30 damages and his max punish do 42 damages, a lot of heroes have better than that.

I wouldn't say VERY low recoveries, it's pretty much a standard recovery.

One of the best OOS pressure, sure, and he lose 3/4 of his stamina to do that and if you make a good read, you can hit him even if you are out of stamina.

I'm sure devs can do Something good with Highlander and your Shinobi too. It need a lot of effort maybe but it's doable. Even if they don't look at my efforts to balance this hero, i have fun creating patch notes

The kick has very low recovery for example, just like OS heavies. You can miss a kick, and land the second when the opponent tries to guardbreak you.

His stamina management is not the best while pressuring someone, but he can very easily delete 60 hp when you are exhausted. The punishes are high: 20 damage with the superior light, or 30 damage on a light parry (that might be highest light parry punish in the game now).

I won't say he should be nerfed back to useless, because if you get close to one in defensive stance, you can bash him to death without him having any option to deal with it, and some heroes easily shut down the offensive stance moves. I however doubt the devs will make mass reworks. They might do something in 2024 judging by their pace.
