    Can't open chest containing RU Vertical Foregrip

    As title says.

    This chest is in the Equipment Depot in Sinking Country. Over several months I've been trying many times to loot this chest, but no matter what I do, I can't interact with it.

    I can't see this in the list of known issues, and I haven't seen any posts about it, so I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem. Not a huge issues, but it's annoying that I won't be able to complete all objectives until this is resolved.

    Anything that can be done to fix this?

    Hey Netspook,

    To help the investigation, can you please advise if you purchased the attachment from the store previously (maybe you purchased a pack and were unaware you owned it) or on a different character?

    If you definitely haven't obtained it already, can you provide a YouTube link to a short video showing the location of the chest and that it's unable to be opened please, and we can forward this on to the game team to look into.

    You mean paying real money? If so, I've not done that. Also, the map clearly indicates this is a an objective I haven't completed.

    I can't provide youtube videos, but it shouldn't be hard for your team to find out exactly where the chest is, I've both provided the location and the name of it's content in the first post. But here's a screenshot of the chest itself.

    I can confirm this has now been forwarded to our game team for further review.

    In the meantime, let us know whether you noticed anything in particular that may have had an effect on this or whether you've done anything different, as that will aid us when attempting to reproduce the issue.

    Many months later, and the issue remains. I still cannot loot this chest.

    Any update on this? You said it's forwarded to your game team for further review, but I haven't seen any info at all, and it's still not in the list of known issues. Maybe I'm the only one having this problem?

    Safe to say it's not a universal problem, as I've not had this specific problem for example, with multiple character slots (old and new).

    Folks are having different experiences with the character slots regarding if certain behemoths re-spawn or not after being destroyed as another example.

    You most likely will have to do your own, limited testing; such as take a new character straight to the Equipment Depot and see if the chest will open.

    Perhaps switch between gear score and immersive mode (IOW, switch from the mode of the current character.)

    I haven't heard of anyone else having the issue with that particular chest either. I just collected it on a new character within the last week or so.

    Another possible suggestion/fix would be to join the session of someone who hasn't collected it yet, and see if you can do it there.

    Thanks for getting back in contact and sorry to hear you still appear to be unable to loot this item crate in game. I can see your request was forwarded to our game team for further review but at this time I would not be able to provide any additional information regarding this. While I know this is not an ideal situation, could I suggest you attempt to create a new character to see if this remains unavailable in your game, also if you could try accessing this in another players world as a workaround suggested above.
