Yesterday saw the release of Operation Iron Horse and the start of the World First competition. Since then, multiple teams have crossed the finishing line and beaten the raid. This is not accurately reflected in the in-game leaderboards, there is a couple of reasons for this:

  • Due to how the leaderboard system works, if you experience a server crash (I.E. Delta error) your run will not be eligible for the leaderboards. Around 11 PM CEST yesterday, one of our data centers experienced a degradation and many of the competing teams were temporarily disconnected from the game services. While they were able to quickly reconnect and continue where they left off, the degradation means in practice that most successful clears of Iron Horse performed yesterday will not show up on the in-game leaderboards.
  • Yesterday's data center degradation has no impact on the Race to World First as we are using internal analytics to determine the winners of the World First per platform. The winners on all platforms will be announced on tonight’s State of the Game stream at 5 PM CEST.
