    General bugs/feedback

    There are so many bugs in this game still. I'm very happy that there are new updates coming along and fixes being put in place, but in case these have slipped through this needs to be fixed :


    • Self shadowing on all characters. Inside of eyelids, nostrils and lips should not get full lighting from sources behind the character model.
    • Helicopters shouldn't have every window shatter as soon as you sit in them, or land gently.
    • Helicopter noises should be the same for all occupants. Frequently one person says it's about to die because they're hearing all he warning sounds and seeing smoke, the other occupants see only a healthy helicopter.
    • Over-dedication to the lines - a character dies it shouldn't carry on speaking.
    • Similarly a helicopter gets shot down, the occupants should either try to bail or have much more difficulty shooting at you as it goes down (or even just stop).
    • HDR results in total blowout and desaturation, HDR screens are not pure linear (unlike HDR file formats) they still have a profile (see ACES). Brightness should follow LCW, see Photoshop's current Brightness setting vs it's "Legacy" option.
    • Base jumping from heights lower than 10 foot should not kill you, especially into water, that's just an embarrassing belly flop. Although it is super amusing.
    • Automatic switching between sides should be something you can disable.
    • Inverted look with aircraft needs to be an option or follow inverted look as set elsewhere (it's not the same as inverted pitch).
    • Airplanes shouldn't need to constantly have you pull back on the yoke to maintain stable flight. They are far too underpowered if that is the case.
    • By default Loadouts should be shared across all subclasses unless you use the two subclass specific presets, i.e. the first one should be shared.

    Miniguns are useless in the game too. Currently they shoot a perfect circle at the radius of the gun reticule, i.e. the bullet angles are normalized. Their spray means they very very rarely hit anything, when they should be extremely powerful mounted weapons.

    Both miniguns and rockets fire from a point offset in time behind where the gun is actually firing. In fact often rockets from helicopters don't show at all, only the resulting explosions.

    There is no visible tracer on most guns, sniper shots in particular feel very arbitrary compared to in wildlands due to the lack of visibility (which may be realistic, but feels much less satisfying given the lack of realism in terms of other dynamics involved).
