Sorry to hear of the constant failures.
For other problems on my machine I fixed them by going to this folder and deleting everything... C:\users\my userid\appdata\local\temp in it (a couple of folders could not be deleted). I think this does a "housecleaning" of junk files.
In the game I found that Enable Reduced Latency = YES to help also.

the game decided to stop crashing today. i don't know why. i didn't do anything. i didn't change anything. i just run it once or twice per week to see if anything has changed and finally, after nearly a yaer of it crashing 1 minute and 55 seconds into the game. it magically started working. i just played for about an hour and that's an hour longer than i ever played before.
i guess the reason for the crashes will forever remain a mystery.
Im literally in the exact same boat as you dude, got this to play with a friend for co-op, tried at least 15-20 fix options, no results, Ubi support through tickets / live chat provide abyssmal information because they don't even know what the issue is.
Its appalling really, we should be compensated, or they should really overhaul their system to have useful staff and a functioning ******g client![]()
