Massive why is there so much Rainbow loot? Poor build progress.

Firstly let me say thank you for TU10. As a solo player (I don't have time nor patience for multiplayer anymore at my age...mid er 40's here) so what you have done for me has made things a lot better in many areas, and somewhat worse in other areas. I mostly run CP's, Missions on my own and sometimes with a friend or two. I've lost a few as they got bored, which is a bit sad given how great the game is to play...

I digress. Rainbow loot has existed before TU10, however SINCE TU10 it is way more frequent and I haven't had the time (due to work/wife) to process how or why things have gone wrong.

My main powerhouse DPS build has not had any changes in months because all the gear on it is from TU8, when I first began playing! So essentially zero build progress. As a noob I started out playing on Normal difficulty and my current high end DPS gear is from TU8, Normal difficulty. Yet since then I currently play on Challenging/Heroic difficulties and I haven't had any better gear since - Massive can you see something wrong here?

During TU9 I got bored of the DPS build because I was being one hit killed by sub machine Hyenas that you have now fixed. It just wasn't 'fun' to play on Challenging as either enemy grenade spam or super accurate mobs made a DPS build very demanding to play as you had to be very attentive and aware of surroundings more than any other build imo.

I decided to try a skill build, and this is where the game became fun for me. I made up a Striker Drone/Assault Turret build and was hugely enjoying the game. The recent InSync addition made things even more enjoyable as I simply don't hide behind cover and actively take part in the combat.

The loot I take home though is questionably a waste of time invested. - 95% of it is junked. Since TU10 landed I seem to be accumulating a godly amount of skill mods and I haven't a clue yet (no it isn't targetted loot). Weapon loot wise you have nailed it and I have zero complaints.

This (below) however is what I see a great deal more since TU10 landed. Massive, why are players seeing such large amounts of this? I have just spend a measley hour and a half running 2x missions and a few CP's and everything is junked. I haven't seen ANY good Providence gear since TU8 and most of the rolls I see are mid-end rainbows, why does this even exist at this point in the game?

You have an absolutely stunning game, with great lore and atmosphere. If it hasn't already you will lose players because on a Time vs Rewards scale Division 2 rates very poorly. For the time invested you get very little and you need to address this.

No probs, just looking at that thread of yours now because I rarely frequent these forums. I wish I could edit my post though as it is a mess grammar wise.

Just adding to this, almost an hour after my first post above I noticed the West End is on Providence targetted loot today so I decided to hit 1x CP and 2x Challenging Bounties. This is part of the loot from them.

This was taken from a chest INSIDE the bounty spot by the boss spawn. Not 100% sure if it is included in the TU10 loot changes but as far as I see it, it is part of the 'Activity'.

The rest of the Providence loot you see in my inventory is a combination of Weapon DMG and Armour rolls alongside this mess.

Now onto Chest pieces and it's just the same thing again.

Farming solo is quite painful for loot. You have to make it super efficient.

As you get better gear equipped, it's harder to find upgrades, and if you are looking for specific items with specific stats, you will end up frustrated.

chests do only scale within missions, NOT bounties, how often does this need explaining?

I’m sure it was chests in world activities too. Either way my point still stands.

Late last night I decided to open a few of Keener's Loot Chests that I received on the Season2 reward track - even rainbow loot effects chests external to world based ones. In addition one of these screenshots with the gloves are from ingame mission chest. Basically I spent a good 5hrs collectively yesterday and those gloves were the best/most useless item I saw.
