So Challenging has gotten too easy, yet Heroic is just plain annoying with the lack of Save checkpoints. How about making a Directive of that instead, I like the Difficulty of Heroic enemies, but I find it frustrating when the enemy gets one lucky grenade off and flattens me and I need to lose 30 minutes of progress.
This is all solo of course, It doesn't matter on co-op since you have someone to revive you. :P
I could agree with that if I didn't get killed by random bugs and glitches too. one of my personal current favorites, the "No warning" grenade. no audio callout no marker, just Fump, and the majority of time its an Airburst that rolling away from won't save you, even with Unbreakable.Originally Posted by Adze. or how about the incoming Status effect hit, that you roll away from and get magnetically sucked back to the spot you left. insta cooked.
Yeah they need to return the dang yellow bars to Challenging.
I went back and played some Division 1, and its remarkable how much better balanced the combat is. Yes, we are fairly weak and die pretty quick under sustained fire, but so do the enemies. The player vs enemy power balance is FAR better.
Here, we got red bars who seem to do very little damage, purple bars who do a good amount and yellow bars who just go "sit down *****!". Meanwhile, enemy purple and yellow bars in Heroic take just unholy amounts of rounds to kill, its really quite stupid. Never mind when you get into 4 player scaling, dear mother of GOD, you just unload magazines of ammo into a single guy and nothing happens. Encountered some 4 man scaling Rogues on Heroic? I put 100 rounds into 1 and didnt even remove 1 single tick of armor........
If you make it a directive, no one would ever use itOriginally Posted by KagatoAC Go to original post
Thats what I'm saying tho, In a group its a fine idea, Teammate goes down you have to save them to prevent a wipe.Originally Posted by Sw33tChinMu51c Go to original post
But Solo I either have to dedicate a gear slot to the Revive hive, or if the game glitches I just lose whatever progress I've made.
Make it a reverse directive. :P If you turn it on you get savepoints, but at reduced XP.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
So far I haven't died in any of the Herioc missions. With the reduced number of enemies they're only a few minutes anyway.Originally Posted by KagatoAC Go to original post
Can't say the same for Strongholds, but going slow is usually the way to success. 9/10 times I die in there it's because I'm moving too quick.
