Use Metal Gear Survives - Survival Mechanic

Metal Gear Survive may not be an award-winning game but it did many things well.
The survival mechanic in Survive forced players to actually gather supplies from the world around them in order to keep progressing through the story.

One such feature is Food and Water.
Current Food and Water in Ghost Recon is just a low-quality buff, where Bivacs have magical food supplies for some reason.

For those that haven't played MGS Survive ( I recommend it, its currently on sale on Steam )
    Basically Food controls HP
    Water controls Stamina
It drains constantly and keeping them topped up keeps you in tip top shape.

Instead, Force the player to gather the things they need in order to gain the buffs.
To offset the excess work - just give a long buff timer 60 minutes ( real-time )

The game currently lacks any meaningful purpose to explore a good 80% of the map.
Which means you got a massive map for no real reason to explore.

The food buffs are 10 minutes and generally meaningless as either enemy do too much damage ( drones ) or have a rare chance of hitting you ( normal soldiers )

This means you got 2 systems that really don't serve any meaningful purpose in the game currently.

Adding Food and Water management similar to how Survive handles it allows the system tobe robust

A Stamina system is driven by Liquid intake limiting the maximum amount of Stamina available to the player
A Food system that determines Chance of injury and total endurance.

Now you have a reason to go back to a random house along the road instead of simply fast traveling to every point and ignoring 80% of the map.

    But since it is not.

While we are at it can we add swords and armour and let me build castles as well.

Actually let’s just make this a medieval survival game with drones.

Survival mechanics don’t belong in ghost recon, it’s a tactical shooter not a survival game.
