Make Erewhon have Limited Supplies \ Require Supplies to "Evolve"

One thing that makes Breakpoint too easy is you have access to unlimited supplies - crafting is unnecessary when you can easily buy what you need.

A solution to fix this is to change a bit of the storyline to show Erewhon is dangerously low on supplies and because of that players cannot buy "infinite consumables" instead the store only sells some items some times.

For example, the Store may only Sell Bandages and Grenades but nothing else and only 1 or 2 of each item. This makes it feel the people are in a state of "desperation" and needs the player to gather supplies to "Improve the situation in Erewhon"

This can be done Hijacking Food \ Medicine \ Fuel supply trucks from bases or convoys then bringing it back to Erewhon.

As the story progresses the player can "Liberate" special bases to act as a FoB - where they can bring supplies to which will be "Added to Erewhon" stockpile.
As you bring in "More Supplies" the store expands which will have more supplies and weapons available to the player.

An Example of an FoB might be a Small Cabin with a Country Road
Or a Small Abandoned WW2 outpost

Which has a few troops that need to be killed, and requires the player to do a few actions - such as "Escort Home Steaders" to the FoB in order to secure it kind of deal.

What this would do is allow players to witness "Game World Evolution" and make it feel the players actually are having an "Impact" on the game world. As well as give a reason to visit old bases or bases without quests.

That’s a great idea, would definitely add more depth to the game.

If this were to be implemented, I'd say, restrict it to Ghost experience. That way, the casual players aren't turned off by it but those of us that want the immersion get it.
