    [Bug] status effects not lasting the stated time

    Hello Devs..

    Im here to let you know that i have recently been playing with the new eclipse build.

    I wanted to report that the stats displayed on my skills are not translating to real (virtual) world use.

    I spec'd completely into status effects.
    I use the firestarter and a blind fire fly.

    After using the set i stafted to suspect that the fire fly was not lasting as long as it should be, although i kind of did suspect this also before tu10; but as my status CC build had such decent duration time on it i wasnt worried because it didnt really imoact on my game too much
    Unfortunately because you nerfed status into the ground in pve in tu10 it has made this issue quite noticeable.
    So i took it to the range in order to test it.

    My eclipse status build fire fly has a blind duration time of 15.8sec as stated on the stats of the skill.

    I perfomed a test on the AOE targets in the range to show that it is not performing to that duration. I did a test on all the different levels of targets and i timed it with a stop watch. The stop watch was started at the point of blind of first target (blind symbol showing) and was stopped at the disapearance of the symbol to the first target hit.

    I also did a test with perpetuation talent on a gun to see how that was also working
    These times were conducted on the heroic world difficulty as that is what i typically play.
    I blinded a target 5 times and then a further 3 times while procing perp on each of those 3 blinds
    The results are as follows:

    Easy target

    Medium Target

    I then tried it with the firestarter and burn duration. The results showed each time that they duration was falling short by 3secs to what stats stated I could achieve on my build.

    At the conculsion of these times i did a further test on the easy target but with the world difficulty set to normal as i thought perhaps some npc status resistances were coming into play and effecting my duration shortfalls

    So as you can see there is really no great discernible differnece.

    What is the purpose of me doing this? I want to know why when my stats say i should get something out of a build why I am not getting it.

    If it is intented and there is a softcap that prevents you from getting the most out of your build when it comes to 6tier skill status builds can you please let us know so we an adjust our builds accordingly, there is no point fully commiting and specing into a status build if you have capped it and we can never achieve the numbers that the game says we can.


    Can someome please look into this.
    Especially considering how much you neferd CC builds in this patch.

    I will endeavour hopefully take a video for you tomorrow.

    But Im only going to do one pass of the targets if thats okay

    Because the results i posted above actually took a bit of time to do, so i dont want to spend that time all over again to record it.

    The only reason i took the time last time to do it was so i could show that it was repeatable on targets across levels and hopefully give you a bit of helpful information.

    I will see what i an do to help.
