I stopped playing this game cause it's lacking any reward for the time invested. And it feels awesome not to care anymore about how the incompetent developers ruin the game even further, patch by patch.
But it also feels right to get distance to a community like this that acts as toxic and unsupportive as the remaining lost bunch of ignorant hardcore fans. In so many ways game developers and community mangaers all over the world should learn from this uniique mess.
Speaking from experience. Sometimes you just have to give the world a temporary middle finger, dig deep and find a way to make yourself happy again, in spite of all the BS.Originally Posted by kaletcz Go to original post
Hey OP, I hear you. I have a diagnosed anxiety condition myself, and before that I would never have imagined how something as simple as playing a game might affect someone’s mood. It can also suck when you’re not getting enjoyment out of something you found fun before.
Fortunately for me playing this game tends to soothe things for me. I think it has to do with the fact that I’ve played these missions and control points so many times I can just turn on some music and kind of go on autopilot. However, I’ve kind of had to separate some of my frustrations about the game from that and try to just enjoy playing the game itself.
It’s ok to take a break and try something else. I went for about a month and only played a couple of times. I’ve been playing through the Assassin’s Creed series and really enjoying myself.
Things are stressful for a lot of people worldwide right now. Take good care of yourself.
Use the crafting table. What is with you people, it's never been as easy to gear up as it is right now. I've started from scratch several times (only play hardcore) and with just the crafting table and knowledge of how the missions are structured you can do heroic.
If you die just respawn?
I don't get this constant whine on this forum, are you running and gunning like it's a quake game?
Stress and depression? answer = stop gaming, try meditate, read books. Do you really think that gaming will help you calm and run from stress and anxiety? Man, go find some kratom extract for sale and calm yourself. Gaming will just break your nervous system, and depressions will just go worse. I always love to analyze what's going inside my head when I have depressions. It is always from simple subconscious deregulations like if u are doing something that u dont like, but with ur head u think that ur doing the right thing, and the result is discomfort.
I've been just f'ing around on hard for the time trials & polarity. I'm randomly getting gRoll pieces dropping [about one an hour].
Prior I was playing Challenging, because I just wanted to have some fun - again, getting gRoll pieces to drop [multiple/hr].
Are people just not getting *the* gRoll pieces you want? Or are we talking triple gRoll pieces [those sporadically drop on Heroic, Legendary is a little better]?
Are people just expecting they can waltz into Heroic with a non-optimized build & ROFLstomp? Is this an expectation problem? Not understanding how the game works? I'm befuddled..

I played on hard for weeks as well. ZERO pieces were useable.
Maybe god rolled means something different to you?
I don't count core attributes. They tend to drop at higher values but more often from caches than NPCs. I mean, do you call +1 skill tier a god roll?Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
But yeah, I've seen max health, armor and +1 skill tier. God rolled is when everything or at least all but one thing is at max value. I never see anything that's even an improvement.
Ah, when I say gRoll, it means the carrot showed up. Which means just one attribute or core is max roll [I don't count +Skill, nor does the game]. That's how the Devs used it when they highlighted the change on SOTG, so that's how I've been using the term.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
Full gRoll or even Dual gRoll + high roll is definitely a rare drop - as it should be in my opinion. I have the best luck with those on Legendary, but I still get them to drop at a reasonable enough rate on Heroic, and even occasionally on Challenging [though I never expect to find them there].
