I've arrived to find them downed, revived them, and then watched them do absolutely nothing because they've just gone AFK; I've joined and been kicked immediately; I've joined, helped out with a boss fight or whatever, then the other player has left the group meaning no endorsement...

(I don't mind Kenly and I'm not sure why it gets so much hate. Having to work it out for yourself is a nice change from the "run from orange marker to orange marker" that makes up 99% of the rest of it.)
I dont get the Kenly hate either , that was one of my favorite content and im always looking out for it to be unlock.
I love solo playing just for the lore ,
I wonder how many of you actually roleplay in this game!
Some of you need to step back and just drop the game difficulty to hard or challenging mode and just simply have fun don’t worry so much about MUST BE THE BEST META in the world approach and you might actually have fun.

Kenly is fun, albeit a bit bugged, but that's no different from the rest of the game. The Metro has a metric buttload of faction crates to loot, and the missions aren't all that different to any of the "regular" ones -- go to the place, shoot the baddies, go to the next place, shoot the other baddies. The only significant variation is that they don't hold your hand and tell you where to go or what to press when you get there. Instead of playing "chase the orange dot" it throws in some light puzzling and some spatial reasoning meaning you have to use your brain a bit.

Oh, wait, I see why some people don't like it now.

The lag during the Kenly College missions is unbearable. On xbox. I completed the missions once and it was a miserable experience.

Indeed, I hate it for that reason. Its boring and tedious doing the same puzzles again and again and again and again... If I wanted to do puzzles all the damn time id go back to getting jumpicrons from SWTOR

I just hate the strict Dps checks in a couple of the fights, that room with the lever and then hit the opening before it closes, while being attacked is annoying as heck solo, or even in a small group. especially since skills won't target the target.

The game is, by its very nature, hugely repetitive, so at least going to Kenly once every few weeks is a change of pace, a break from running the same missions so many times that we all know exactly which door the next wave of enemies is going to spawn from. Is it not also not boring and tedious shooting the same enemies over and over again, or picking up the same laptop, or gathering the same intel, or capturing the same CPs, or standing in the same circles for the same prescribed amount of time, or chasing the same bounties again and again -- different names, maybe, but there's a finite number of locations and factions so they repeat a lot: I did the Termite Manhunt today, and it took me to the same location three times (the two "do these first" bounties in West End, and then the final showdown)?

But whatever, I know I'm not going to change anyone's mind -- if you don't like it you don't like it, I guess, but "it's repetitive" just seems like a really odd objection taken in a broader context.

Let's be realistic, the game have been out for over a year and it's dying. Matchmaking can be difficult, especially Kenly. People ran it all the time when it first opened for the exotic, now that they have gotten it, they won't be back. It's just not a fun mission on top of that it's locked all the time, I forget it even exist anymore. Personally, if I do a random MM and I see its Kenly, I will declined it right away.
