Great to hear that Seacondor!
A small tip if I may, IF you have a slider (trim) to spare, put the brakes on the trim!
Then you have progressive brakes and it works like a dream.
I went one step further:
I have the rudder control of the X45 which I had no use for (I use rudder in my foot pedals) and put the brakes there. It is centered that means 50% braking power so I have to press it full left (=0%) for taxiing and during landing approach. After touch down I release it and it brakes at 50% nicely all the way

Yes, putting wheel brakes on an axis is a very good idea. I have pedals with toe brakes, and it is never a problem to get a controlled slowdown.

I think this deserves a bit of a bump

Well, From the 1C forum
SOME people with problems might need to look a bit closer to home for improvements ( not perfection but improvements )

Activation went well.
However at the stock settings, 'Medium'. It's a lag fest.
Hopefully optimization will make things better.
AMD Phenom X4 955
Gforce 570 OC
6G 800 mhz ram.
All settings stock 'Medium
Well time for an update.. I found out why I was having the BIG problems with Lag. I bought a new GeForce 570 OC Vid Card, thinking man this thing is gonna SMOKE! Well imagine my dissappointment when it barely ran on stock low settings.....
After a number of frustrating hours of 1 frame per 2 seconds, I came across something I hadn't seen before. The software with my new card comes with a type of throttling function used for saving power. It was set to frugal mode rather than performance mode. I flipped the switch and away she went.
I've got everything maxed out now, I've flown for a few hours and she's a thing of beauty
All the best to Oleg and his fine Crew

Win7 64bit upgrade arrived in the post this morning. Installed it over my old XP, reloaded CloD and Wow!!! It works. Not only does it work but it's a thing of beauty. Well done 1C.
As they optimise it more and hardware improves, or gets more affordable, it's just going to get better and better.
Very pleased
