Can someone else confirm/deny that? I could have sworn it was, but I might be wrong...

I remember after you fail all attempts he gets back in the room with the other assassins and get to pick another one to break the door.
I can't confirm 100% though... I'm old and my memory may be affected.

    - action buttons inside and out
    - once you start first lock pick there is no turning back, you either succeed or deplete all attempts remaining
    - after all attempts were fails you are still blocked and have to break the door with the same hero

In screenshot below Luis had 2 attempts, he failed both and I was forced to break the door with him, of course he failed that too.

That is how the game always worked. Anyway you should be able to try to break through the door or bash a chest even if you have picks available. If break/bash is unsuccesful, then door or chest is wrecked in locked state and can't be openned.

The only option where you might have a chance to change the chosen hero once in a room or section of map is if there's an enemy before reaching door/chest, the hero chosen has smoke bomb and you are able to get into a fight sequence without killing enemy to use the smoke bomb before reaching door/chest.

    My bad then, sorry!
I don't know why I was under the impression it worked differently before...

No worries. Generally speaking if your chance at opening door/chest is less than 80%, then you'll have a potentially high probability of losing picks and/or failing.

Probability doesn't really work the way most people think. Personally I have a real laugh when weather forecasters say that 30% probability of rain means that 30% of the territory will have rain.

Of course I know how success rate works.

By working differently I meant finishing all lockpick tries/return to room/select other hero to break door.

    Lost reward

I just got done playing the helix rift event and placed 15th, however I was not given my reward. Very frustrating!

How odd. Have you tried switching between your HQ and the World Map? Or quitting and reloading?

Do you have a team taking care of the issues, is there only one person, there is none? What is the problem causing this very slow progress?

Also, I ask again, until you answer... damage nerf is intentionally made or a bug?

Ubi-Bunny, can you please answer my questions?

Why does it take so long to fix things?

Are enforcers getting back the damage output prior to 2.9.0?

    Hi Bunny,
I am not sure if you are aware but jeans righteous strike at 5* the 25% glance to heal actually heals the enemies not Jean himself.

An hour ago, l started my first rift quest and the game crashed and l lost 8 of my 100 tokens. This was the first time it happened. I applaud you Ubisoft.
