As a deaf gamer let me vent my frustration at the discrimination being dealt out by these so called inclusive DEVELOPERS.
I wont be able to join the raid because of your deccision not to include matchmakeing for randoms Again.
I dont get invites from clan members because im unable to use a mic.
What is wrong with your system and the mindboggling reasons you give for your deccisions.
I can communicate fine with a keyboard but you have taken that choice from me not the players that wont game with me YOU HAVE.
What is wrong with randoms joining forces ?
I do intend to make a formal complaint about disscrimination but you people need to take a long hard look at the way you treat all of your player base.
Not just your valued players who meet all your criteria for playing your hardest conntent.
All round you make a very selfish and uneducated team who on a day by day bassis alienate the player base with total disregard.
Yeh thats right the deaf play video games too....
Perhaps you could all do with being a little more informed.
The ignorance is stunning and yet the norm.

I think there are Text-To-Speech and Speech-To-Text features in the game (they need to be enabled from the menu), but as a non-deaf person I don't know if these are actually useful or not for your scenario. Or did they take these out?
Raid-matchmaking is defo a much-requested feature.
EDIT:

Apparently, those features don't work in the Clan channel, WTF.
sorry to hear about your condition.
sadly not everything in the world will be accessible to everybody
i am too fat to be an astronaut, blind people cant drive a car on a public road, if you have no arms you will not go doing pull ups
sorry to say this, but reading the chat inside the raid, AFTER the initial briefing is, outside of a well-trained team, impossible.
i been to the raid so many times, even in discovery with matchmaking and people simply ignore chat, VOIP or text...
maybe its the game, maybe its the community...
but playing this game without sound while having to rely HEAVYLY on soundcues like the spinning lucy, incoming grenades, mortars, all that stuff...
maybe its not the right thing
sure you can and should decide for yourself and i am sure to be penalized for having an opinion, just because not fully 100% agreeing with anyone is discriminating/racism whatever these days...
this game is not made for you, and maybe the devs are to blame, but maybe not everything in life can be adjusted to everybodys needs
I don't know why everything's got to be discrimination all the time. But my homeboy is Def and I've been gaming with him since before division 1. We communicate within game text chat, Xbox live messages and party text chat. He's an excellent player he's been through the raid and all legendaries with me and without me. He has no problem getting into clans. But playing with him has made me realize how some things are difficult for him like the random bombs placed in open world in the division 1 that used to tick he can't hear those. Same thing with the c4 in rainbow six siege. I try to think up some ways of how they could change things so that it would work for him. Being able to communicate quickly in The raid is key sometimes. I do hope they come out with quicker ways to communicate through text.
Devs already put text-to-speech and speech-to-text in. For audio cues there's a thing called captions, not sure if that's in or not as I'm not deaf and don't need these things. They also have support for colorblind, etc.Originally Posted by Merlinsdragon1 Go to original post
So unlike you, the devs care about people with disabilities. Could they do more? Sure, and that's what TS is asking, nothing more nothing less.
But geez, what kind of ******bag do you have to be to come into this kind of topic and tell someone with a disability that they don't belong here. That's some next-level toxicity and sociopathy right there.

I play with music on and my sound off unless with friends to hear their banter on discord, I feel there is zero reason to hear what any other player has to say, I know how to play the game, I know how to run the missions, last thing I need is some idiot trying to tell the whole team what to do so he doesnt have to wet his panties because he cant handle the content.
The raid was just one gimmick after another so banter between players was needed but everything else in game you dont need sound on for any reason at all.
when it comes to the new raid I would guess you will have to play with friends that will understand your situation and better be able to help you get through it.
