I've been farming for a Harmony the past 4 days.

Yesterday I was farming in NY and got 5 godrolls in 1 hour, none of which I would use, still 5 godrolls.

All the rest of the time I roamed DC I would not see anything like that, and still today I have not seen a godroll in DC (a few maxrolls, no godroll).

Obviously, getting to the threshold of 350 rifle drops, still no sign of a Harmony. The discrepancy in named drops is staggering, I got more than 20 Baker Dozens, 3 Artist Tools, 1 Surge.

The stats seem higher but overall quality is low.

That is so awesome and it's just like my experience except, that I haven't seen anything god rolled. Once again RNG treats all differently. Some get rewarding for playing, while others are punished for playing.

RNG seems to shine on a very select few, but most of us (myself included) are left to suffer.

I have been farming extra long hours since TU10 because 3 of my old Raid speed-running buddies came back for the new raid. In 35 hours, the only two exotics I've got were from the exotic caches, and the only god-rolled items were rainbow (maybe 6 or 7 items). The sad part is, my RNG is so bad, that after the first full day of farming, I couldn't get anything to improve their builds further (and they were hardly strong builds).

However, I have a friend in the game that I have played at least 1000 hours with. He always has the best RNG out of anyone in our clan (everyone left anyway). His luck never runs out.
Just three of the many examples I could list:

    • The first gearsets (TP and OD) had just come out when I first started playing with him. He would shout "Ooooh I got a green!" in almost every room of each mission we played. He would average about 4-5 gearset pieces per mission. Whereas I would average one about every 7-10 missions.
    • He had the Eagle Bearer drop from Boomer (the first raid boss)- the very first time we tried the Raid. Yet one didn't drop for me until my 120th Raid-clear.
    • He got the Mantis on Tuesday before he even played the game. He got it from the exotic cache that you get from donating materials.

I'm sure there are others with similar luck, and that is why whenever there is post complaining about RNG (with several upvotes), there are always a few that say RNG is fine...because for them...it is.

I understand, I too suffer from terrible RNG and yet played with others that see great drops with every run.

the game it not fun anymore ... i would like to PLAY and getting FUN ... but no i have to Granid and farm gear or weapon during Hours and hours every day to get only one or two things ... not even good but at least to build a new stuff... its useless to craft because after using all inventory of scrap to craft 15-20 exactly the same weapon... not one can be use ... because we have to get good roll and right stats and right Talent ... and we can only re-roll one ... so its imposible to get THE weapon you want ... its the same problem for chest and backpack... the game force us to farm during a week many hours by day to get gear to make aone build... before we can play with it and hoping getting fun with it... and i dont talk about optimise it...

im loosing fun with the division... but im still big FAN of division world ... the only things they can do to fix this problem is an upgrade station like in Div 1... so we can loot or craft a bad rolled gear but with the right stat on it and then upgrade it to max rolled...
i try to make a healer build since TU10... i only getting 1 piece of it... after playing only heroic / legendary mission many hours by day...

im tired to only grinding and not playing this game.

Don't get me wrong, those 5 godrolls are all the godrolls I've seen this month, they were all crammed in that 1 hour of play.

I looted 2 chameleons and one tardigrade chest in the same lincoln memorial run 20 mins ago.
One chameleon was from the faction chest, the other dropped by a random npc before the last area, and the chest by the final boss.

3 exotic components...already had better ones unfortunately. It was good to see them though
