I'm replaying the game in new game+ and I came to the quest Fighting for Fayum. Khenut took me to see a group of rebels, but upon reaching their location the game seemed to skip the entire cutscene where we actually talk to them and find out their leader is missing. There was a fade out and then I was just dropped back in the location with my quest advanced to the next stage, the objective to rescue the leader, without any explanation. I vaguely remember something like this happening the first time around, too. (I'm not 100% sure because it's been a while, but the whole situation seems awfully familiar, including looking up the quest on YouTube to see the missing cutscene.) So now I'm wondering is this a bug that happens to more people or is my game just broken?
Thanks for responding! I do have footage saved. Not sure how I can get it to you though as it's on my PS4 and I currently don't have access to a working pc. It shows Bayek following Khenut up to the location, the screen fades out as normal for a cutscene, then instead of the cutscene it fades back in abruptly and Bayek is standing in the location (his clothes doing that thing where they fly up like he's just been dropped from the sky), all the rebels standing around him (one right next to Bayek, the other three in a row at a slight distance) and then walking to their places and sitting down around their fire, as the quest objective updates to "Rescue the leader of the Faiyum rebels" in the corner.
Thank you for such a thorough description.Originally Posted by SpiritMuse Go to original post
If you are able to record the video on a device such as a mobile phone, or upload the footage directly from you PS4 to a video sharing platform, such as YouTube, and send us a link, that would be helpful in our investigation!
