Please, could we have it consistent?
Hevies uses M134 I believe, but once killed they would drop random machine gun available for player.
Why not give to players a minigun when heavy gunmen is downed? Not the best all rounder but on some occasions could be useful.
If not, I believe Heavies should use the same machine guns as players can. Otherwise this is quite inconsistency, since they carry different weapon when alive and drop different when dead.
Thank you!
I have been wanting the mini gun from the start of this game. I have been asking for it and asking for it but no go.
I would say it will be in for us to use but when no one know.
I sure it will take some time to get it animated and coded for the players. just a guess.
And I am sure they will make it so you can't use it all the time you would need to repair it or make ammo for it or something. so this way you have to play more to get things to keep using it.
I am fine with this. tbh this would be great!
You have a free will mate, no one is forcing you to use it if available. If some players would, why not let them in PvE mode?Originally Posted by rugby_dog Go to original post
Lone Wolf style doesn't belong to Special Forces world too yet we play whole game alone.
Cars and choppers that can hit 10 times any obstacle before damaged doesn't belong to SF world, yet we have them.
100kg of items in backpack don't belong to Special Forces story, yet we are allowed to carry it.
Looking onto this forum would say there is hundreds of things in this game that don't belong to Special Forces world, yet we have all of those.
One more wouldn't make any difference.
Elite SOF would use any available resources to complete a mission if those could help. That's why they are called SOF. As I said minigun isn't allrounder, but when lone wolf is pinned down and surrounded by enemies, and running out of ammo, and minigun would be the last resort to use, do you think one wouldn't because someone on UbiSoft forum said it's not belonging to SOF world? Would SOF said: "F.. it I'd rather die or surrender but will not go for minigun lying on the ground next to me..." - I know this feels little bit like Rambo approach at first, but think big for a moment - things went bad, you are going to die, would you not use it? Different thing is to take one and run around shooting anything that's on the move, but this is not my style. Beside - I imagine - mobility with one would be next to none.Originally Posted by rugby_dog Go to original post
Second thing, I asked for consistency - to let us use minigun or give Heavies standard LMG as Ghosts are allowed to use. One of two would make some sense.
If you don't want or like to use minigun, no one is forcing you to do so. In real life a decision is to made by you only if you have a minigun on disposal - the same should apply to the game.
You've asked for this game being based on reality - reality is if there is minigun on the ground, you can and may pick it up or not, it's up to you if you will.
I'm the last one to ask for Ghost Recon to be more arcade.
