So i just went on the newest state of balance from Y4S1 And Shinobi is literally at the very bottom of every single win rate and he has been for months. Yet... Ubi didn't even mention his name once in the state of balance, nor in any of the earlier patches really. I'm just curious as to why shinobi really gets no love at all like a rework, buffs or at the very least some changes, all he's gotten for years are nerfs and it really really sucks

Nah in the wake of them removing his super armor, smokeless dash, quad dash, double dash gb, cutscene, breaking his heavies and making backflip the most useless ability he got a feintable zone.

No kidding. Don't even play him (because reflex guard) and already know the struggle. Makes no sense that they need him into completely unplayable against any other character yet say nothing about buffing him in the future or any mention of it.

Literally has no soft feints, no chained attacks that aren't predictable, and no good opener. You could say the kick is the opener but is way too predictable and too slow to trick someone into a GB.

Currently they need to leave him guttered.

Simply because his moveset is so flawed to the core that they can’t buff him to a viable state without making him Overpowered again.

It properly will take some time till he gets reworked.

I agree his kit is a mess and he needs a rework but to have taken so many things away from him that weren't fundamentally flawed such as his quad dash or double dash into gb and not give him anything in return is a bit lazy. Hell they even took his cutscene away (rightfully so) but almost a year before centurion.

They should just remove him from the game. I've seen some awesome shinobi game play on YouTube but when I play shinobi it's all about defence. You can take any chances, his useless and they will never give him a rework.
