    Far Cry 6 Multiplayer Ideas

I decided to make a video on some things I would like to see in Far Cry 6's multiplayer, hopefully there will be one. What are some things you hope to see Ubisoft add to the next Far Cry multiplayer?

I completely agree with the points you brought forward, Map.Editor.Man:
    • 1 - More Gamemodes
Yes! Even if they would add some more modifiers, like limiting the number of respawns (per player or per team) to instantly get a Battle Royal gamemode going.
    • 2 - Custom Classes
Right now, we have loadouts and players can spawn from a random spawn point. If loadouts could be tied to spawn points, it would open up a whole new way of creating maps, even in SP/coop!
    • 3 - Voting System & Comments
It's annoying that players need to use Reddit/Facebook/Discord/whatever to sollicit comments and feedback on maps. It's not visible to the mainstream occasional Arcade player who's ingame. Adding this visibly in the game would add cohesion to the map editing community.
    • 4 - Map Playlist
Yes! Additionally, the "success cam / death cam", "arcade level up" and "map rating" screens really take the speed out of the game. That, plus having to wrestle through all the Arcade interfaces to get to a good next map to play removes the fun from the whole process.

We already can "follow" or "favorite" map makers on the Arcade website. It shouldn't be too hard to auto-generate a "maps-to-play" playlist based on your "followed" creators.
    • 5 - Map Rotation Playlist
    • 6 - More Players
Unfortunately, the tech may be holding back the number of players.
    • 7 - Permission To Download Maps
Some map makers spend a lot of time and effort creating their maps. It crushes their spirit when other players plagiarize those maps.
The Far Cry 5 Code of Conduct explicitly mentions "Map Stealing":
      • Map Stealing: copying the map files of another User and republish them under his/her own Account.
        • First offense: Warning & content reset
        • Multiple offenses: Temporary suspension & content reset

But seeing this rule is not really enforced, the best way forward is to give map editors control of their map.

So, allow players to password-protect a map, such that the map can never be (re-)published by other creators, unless they enter the right password.
Note: besides this publish-lock, I think everyone should be allowed to open any map in the editor, so they can examine how things were made.
Players should also be free to edit the map locally, to see how changes will pan out.
    • 8 - Better Ranking System
The ARCADE analogy would have made it easier to create a "high-score" table per player per map, so people could compete to set map records (quickest playthrough time, least amount of damage, undetected/headshot bonuses, etc).
    • 9 - Detailed Descriptions
Tied in to this, links to maps on the Arcade website display a generic link thumbnail. If instead, the map's thumbnail would have been used, I think it would have attracted way more players.
    • 10 - Better Filter System
Being able to apply tags to maps for publishing is nice, but we still can't filter/search maps based on tag.
I tried to circumvent this restriction at my own maps site, but ideally I wouldn't want to waste time creating alternative websites for features that should just have been designed into the game's interface.
    • 11 - Private Uploads
    • 12 - Crossplay If Possible
This would be really cool. It would bring the whole Far Cry Community together!

Additionally, currently (due to EasyAntiCheat being removed?), the PC multiplayer experience seems easy to exploit with cheats. This is against the Code of Conduct, but despite player reports, those cheaters aren't banned actively. If a good anticheat protection is hard to do, maybe do periodic auditing of stats/logs to notice outlier godlike players.
