People respond in kind. Often (few outliers notwithstanding) showing kindness meets kindness - problem is (just like the internet) most decent people just float by. To steal a quote "those that know the least know it the loudest" - idiots are noisy, and sadly normal people cant convey normal(ness).
People respond in kind though, so the the noisy people make good people noisy. Best response to a toxic player is 'why my man, we both like the same game, yell at someone who doesn't like the same s&^t as you' - 90% of the time underneath you'll find another gamer. The other 10% just feel sorry for, who knows whats going on in their lives to make them act like that to strangers and a bunch of pixels
EDIT: sorry if its preachy but just extend an olive branch, the best person to learn from is usually the person who just beat you and the people who need kindness act brutal, because you know, self feeding monster and all.
Well you can thank Ubi for allowing Emote spamming, it's almost like they encourage it. As for chat spamming you can just turn that off or ignore it. Just block them if they DM you or look as it as a win. if you beat them and they get pissed that's their problem not yours, let them stew in their own salty brine.
Emote spamming isn’t a purely toxic thing tho.Originally Posted by Han-Singular Go to original post

Please explain to me how spamming the horn blowing emote on someone’s body you just executed isn’t toxic? Or spamming the emotes that make your bottom point down at that opponents face?
Yeah but you can disable the chat unlike the spam emoteOriginally Posted by HalfVampyr Go to original post
