They are level 3, they just don't play like normal level 3 bots due to them having defined attack patterns. This is what makes them easy to counter.Originally Posted by Lunamaria2020 Go to original post

The drop rates for these events are moronic. It feels like a 1% chance for it to drop, which is weird. I assumed Test Your Metal would have a higher drop chance for the gear seeing as you can get it in all gamemodes.
There are six pieces of gear to collect per hero. Three armour, three weapons. There are twenty-six heroes.
6x26=156. In order to get all the gear, you have to play a bare minimum of one hundred and fifty-six games.
The drop rates are absolutely ******g wank.
I've got a conspiracy theory it's to make the battle pass look great in comparison since at least you can easily grind the 100 levels in just a few weeks of on-off play instead and get the weapons instantly, as opposed to grinding through unfun match after unfun match for a 0.0000000000001% chance of a drop, which will likely just be a piece you already have.
Cool theory, sadly it’s as garbage as it sounds.Originally Posted by Hrafnhrjodr Go to original post
These drop rates are pretty much like the first test your metal.
Now you could you put down your tin foil hat?
Well the drop rates for event gear is at least substantially higher or priority than normal gear stuff. You don't need to play test your metal to get better drop chances. Breach for instance can get you quite a lot of drops especially if you get some orders done by a match. Also note that playing ranked provides more drops and that champion status should increase drop rates as well. Whenever an event starts I get myself a champion status ticket at least for 3 days. If you can you could also use scavenger crates.
