How’s everyone’s luck getting apollyon gear on the event been grinding for ages and only have one complete set

i know my comment is irrelevant to your question but i wanna share it here if you don't mind

i find test your metal very easy mode

i enjoyed it first few games , but then i noticed the AI will follow the same patterns , which makes it really easy in 1 vs 1

for example Valkyrie will never parry i could just unblockable again n again till she's dead

PK will always dodge against any unblockable mostly to your left

LB 80% will parry your unblockble, sometimes dodge but if you just feint , he will either throw a light or a long arm

warlord headbutt's but doesn't follow up light and he will always jump attack from distance same goes for conq

the only ai i find him decent to an extent is appolyon raider and tozen , sejuro also have similar patterns


i bought the battle pass and test your metal is my way to grind the tiers , but i find it more enjoyable if i'm going alone , it gives a better challenge anti ganking the bosses than taking them 1 vs 1

If you're goal is to sit down and specifically grind for event armor/weapons, ya need to play Breach because I swear the drop chance of getting event weapons/armor has to be at least double that of Dominion, if not more.

seems easy sometimes and others the kensei or Apollyon will go insane and parry everything lol and it seems like they do too much damage at time (I know they get stronger each round but PK was doing too much damage on round one sometimes) I could just be bad but it seem that way lol. Got the gear I want, pretty much got what I want from this season.

I already farmed out the heck from the first one.

So I basically just Farm the few parts that are missing and the new ones.

Drop chances for me a pretty good.

AI is way easier tho, hope it gets more difficult with each stage of test your metal.

It would be better if they started with all the buff from the get go for starter. Then even better if they were bot level 3 at least.

Normally I’d agree but I though you could only get this black gear by playing test your metal or am

Oh sweet wasn’t sure as next to the armor it says acquired during test your metal event but guess that just means when it’s active not on it thanks man!
