I'm glad I'm not the only one to have seen that sh*t, for a moment I thought I had imagined blowing it up or was seeing things until it started to change between the visuals. Your spot on there, it is certainly not the game evolving in a positive manner. It is unbelievable really that the game is still such a mess and only getting worse patch after patch.Originally Posted by AvengerGR35 Go to original post
That will show the forum ratio, but the forum is not going to be a representative sample I feel; it's always been the niche element of the GR fan base anyway and nowadays the remaining posters are particularly dissatisfied with Breakpoint.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post

It doesn’t matter where you look, it doesn’t seem like there’s much satisfaction with Breakpoint... YouTube, Reddit, here. Gascan mentioned there was a bit of love for the game on Facebook but that’s probably isolated.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
We all know this game was rejected - even Ubisoft said so. Which means the player base was abysmal from the start, and it’s not likely done much other than dwindle down since then.
We will probably never know, but Wildlands is probably doing remarkably well for a game that is now into its 4th year.
We will find out the player numbers one day and the sales figures; eventually they'll be released. Wildlands is a great game, still the best GR overall for me on balance so no argument there and I'm not surprised it is still going. I was berated on the forums as a shill when I disputed the notion that it was dying back in 2018, LoL.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
Of course it was dying. If it wasn't dying, why would Ubisoft allocate resources to it for a full second year of paid and free content? Everyone knows that when games are dead, developers always allocate more resources to them.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
Does Ubisoft release sales figures on a title-by-title basis... as part of their earnings?Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
I'm sure every games sees participation drop off over time... It probably peaks around launch and then decays at various rates depending on the game. It would be fascinating to know what the player engagement was on Wildlands in its second year. I think a strong argument could be made that it was still going strong.
Maybe Breakpoint is much healthier than it would seem, but unless someone can put forward a good case, it would seem to be doing very poorly from what I can see.
This doesn't make sense to me but maybe you're being sarcastic?Originally Posted by nyleken Go to original post
BP to me is on the knife edge. Many of us want to see it succeed and the introduction of the immersion mode helped breathe some life into that hope. What is killing it for me is whatever the hell it is they are doing they don't ever mention that is making it become buggier. The lack of communication and the deterioration of the game has wiped out the goodwill achieved back in that update. I am still holding off judgement until the next update but it really needs to fix a lot of bugs, make substantial improvements to gun smith etc and the AI team has to be on target. I appreciate them shifting the date as a lot is at stake here.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
What a bunch of whiners and Naysayers you LOT are, how's about you take some responsibility for your actions and Git Gud.... Pffffftttt.
Best game ever, between the freezes I am allowed to go downstairs, grab a glass of ice and have a coke before my next session... what other game can allow for such options huh.
