There seems to be some connectivity issues. Nothing on my part changed I have a solid 100 mbit connection, LAN connected, green nat. I run the game with steam overlay enabled to get myself some custom configuration for my controller. I know from past experiences that the overlay can be the issue why one cannot connect to server on startup. It was fixed some time ago and but now it appears to be an issue again. Please kindly look into this I usually have to ALT+F4 out of game, close up steam and uplay and restart again to see if it connects after that (it does after a couple of tries usually). I assume this is some kind of weird issue with your security software.
