Rewards not carrying over from original to remastered

After purchasing Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed Rogue remastered on Xbox One I naturally went straight to the Ubisoft Club to see if my previously purchased items from my old games (Xbox 360 versions of both games) had carried over.

To my dismay I found that not only had none of my previous purchases carried over, but my points had not been refunded.

After upgrading my games I find this unacceptable, as I spent a long time unlocking all rewards on those games. I was looking at also purchasing the Ezio collection, but if the trend follows, then I will have to repurchase all the rewards again.

Please can you look into this at your earliest convenience as legacy players (also your long time fan base) are being short changed here.

It feels like as a long time player/customer I have been pushed aside just to get new players into the game.

Whilst I understand that mechanically it may not be possible to accomplish this, what with more rewards in the remaster (along with all new rewards), I suggest that players that have shown to upgrade from the original to the remaster by owning both copies of the game (i.e. the games tab in Ubisoft club), these players should get a 'reward' for their loyalty. I suggest 100-200 points ( in the case of the Ezio trilogy because it's essentially 3 games in one I would steer towards the 200 points).

I would welcome your thoughts on this issue and of course any suggestions anyone has.

    Hi compukn1ght,

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. The Ezio Collection, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Rebel Collections are all new games with different Ubisoft Club rewards, achievements/trophies and save files. This is why your rewards don't carry over from the originals but most, if not all of the rewards, have lower Unit costs compared to the originals.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Thanks

That answers the why, but as for my other suggestions, why can no-one seem to give me a straight answer as to why this can or cannot work?

    Hey,

I don't have an answer but you're welcome to post your suggestion here >> https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisp...mp-Suggestions

A few semi related things. There are different profile badges available for people who have played more than others, you don't spend units on them but they exist. The units you collect also expire now so you'd need to be mindful of spending them.
