    Thoughts about the new battlepass

I think the new battle pass has some great things and some others not so much for a battle pass. I compared the new to the previous one and these are my observations.

(excuse my bad English in advance)

    Best things
    - Quality of the new weapons sets are mostly Great. They are more detailed, richer, elegant and vibrant than wyverndale sets. Quality is extraordinary, they are almost all beautiful . In this aspect the Battle Pass did it's job.

-Symbols for outfits are more crisp and for my taste, better than the wyverndale ones. Not talking here about the Battle outfits of the Battle Pass.

-paint patterns also are more complex and artistic.

-Embossings are the same quality (good) as wyverndale but they are more, themed also for each faction. So more in this case is better.

-One battle outfit, the horkos crystal is good. But this can be subjective.

    - new color schemes are better.

    Mixed feelings

    - the hat effect is not that great. I tried on PK but the head is too big and the angle ankward. Some chars have this problem too, mostly chars with helmets. Wun lin and Japanese look good though. In general I think the little dragon is better than this. Not sure if a hat theme fits for a medieval combat game(mask is fine). A darker and more reliant on Ravens effect would be great.

    - the Battle outfit with the hat guy is not that great, symbols are childish, or not very fitting.

-Outline rewards and monochrome symbols are the same quality of the previous battle pass.

    CONS

    -no new signature.
    - the new emote is the Same for all factions, and is ridiculous that a big sword only appears like that... A dark cloud or portal would do the job better than just pulling the weapon from their asses.
    - they still offer SALVAGE as a premium reward. This is also ridiculous. Just get rid of that and put something with value.
    - they could add more things fitting the theme of dark and mystery.
    - still being 100 tiers.

    The Worst

    - very disappointed with the decision of making the 100 tier rewards, the executions, THE SAME FOR EVERY FACTION. I was enthusiastic to see the last tiers only to see the same execution over and over. And the execution itself is not that great, not bad but meh. This dissatisfied me a lot. Even a little variation would be welcome.

    Sugestions
    - make sure to add a little more value and variations.
    - executions are a big part of why I would like to buy a battle pass. Different executions are a must. Even faction based different ones are acceptable.
    - you can put an effect that functions as an add on to other effects, so they enhance and not cancel our favorite ones, make this "add on effects" exclusive for battle passes. This will add enormous value.
    - get rid of salvage put an elite outfit for free or create one of the theme. No battle outfit, an Elite one.
    - put at the 100 tier an exclusive
cool ornament or a set of armor for each character. This last sugestion, the exclusive armor sets, should add enormous value. Even with repetitive executions, this alone would convince the players to buy it.

The exclusive set would be apart from the free pass set, like devs do with weapons sets.

Thanks for reading. Also this is only my opinion surely many will differ or have other suggestions. Feel free to post them, I'm interested in different points of view.

I'm mixed feelings about the new battle pass, but the one thing that is extremely disappointing is the top reward. The same execution for everyone. I thought they got lazy last time with faction executions, but this is just ridiculous.

I feel like the devs have gotten bored/stale with this game and they can't be bothered with it anymore.

Agree the executions need variety even if they are faction based. I continue to support the game but maybe this is the last time if they don't add value.

It is well known that the game has been on skeleton crew mode for a while now, even maybe since the releasen judging by the rate of the patch: several months, sometimes more than 6 months between.

Yeah it is, but they could give us a different variation for each faction on the last rewards.

For example knights praying at the end of the poisoning or Vikings observing with a totally disgusted face , or even a wun lin slap after the poisoning... Whatever little variation, man, would be better than just... This.

I generally agree with the negatives pointed out. As for the positives I generally preferred the weapon designs from last pass. These weapons go into the big pile of "weapons you hang on a wall to admire. Not to use."

I take the same approach to this battle pass that I do to any other pass in any other game. I need to WANT to complete the free pass before I even consider buying the premium pass, IF I even find what's in the premium pass to be desirable, which unfortunately for this pass once again, is not the case.

The weapons are cool and all, just too garish for my taste.

I might be in the minority in this, but I would love some armor sets for both passes. They don't even need to be super unique per character/faction. If the armor design went along with the pass theme I would love it. Considering how few outfits I really like on my Valk, and how few different designs she really has, I am desperate for some variety.

Nah i'm the same way. I'd love if the pass contained unique armor. I'd also like unique executions. Those are things I actually care about. And I really don't see what's stopping the devs from just adding the battle pass items to the loot pool once that season is done. Could even put the effects/executions and what have you in as well. I understand event gear being exclusive for the time the event is around but I don't see why the pass should have to follow the same path.

Well, Knight, the wyverndale weapons set is "cleaner" it's true that on some outfits / color schemes I find them very appealing. Sure, this depends on personal tastes. IDK also what stops devs from add more value or exclusives.

Velentix, is a good approach, unfortunately I was very hyped and really did it to supporting the game, I acquired it when it was free in 2018 on Xbox(currently my gaming pc is in need of repairs but there was cheap I remember ) so, 20 dollars plus maybe another ten for a steel pack, in exchange of many, many hours of playing, is for me reasonable. But if the trend continues IDK, maybe I will pass the next. My son plays Valk and he said the same, she needs variety ASAP.

I'm the odd one out here in that I don't care for battle outfits or mythic outfits. It's very rare that i'll equip an effect of some kind and if I do it's usually just for an idle stance. So customization for me stops at armor and weapons. (As I enjoy executions of any kind like most and there are some signatures and emotes that I like.)

I think the devs are avoiding adding armor or character specific executions into the pass in fear of potential backlash. As both things are highly requested things almost always. For me I just look at the value of the items plus my playtime. Are there more than a few things I want in the pass? If so do I think I can complete the pass with how much I currently play? Then i'd buy it.

I used to just shell out money on any pass for a game I was playing regardless of those things. Just because there's always at least one thing I could see myself using. But I ended up growing increasingly frustrated. Because it felt like I hopped on JUST to complete the pass rather than to actually play. And if I didn't complete the pass it would bother me immensely. Even if i'd gotten what I wanted from it. This is why I stopped playing fortnite awhile back. I love a lot of stuff that they put out. But I really only played to get said cosmetics. And that was a waste of both time and money.
