current team, leader or whoever is at the moment at Ubisoft Paris should not remaster anything related to old GR titles, everybody have a real good experience and good memories (or so) with old GR titles, do you really want them to ruin that titles too? they prove that are very capable of with BP.
I couldn't agree more. Hell, in some cases they can even study their own franchise history or that of some of their other projects / games like America's Army.Originally Posted by ArgimonEd Go to original post

There are some good players and/or athletes that are very bad coaches, I am hoping he was a good at his previous job.
Blasphemy, don't you know they are the innovators and others copy them. Every other AAA Company is looking for a piece of their pie.Originally Posted by ArgimonEd Go to original post![]()
Listen at around seven minutes into that interview. He wasn't there for the core development and by the time he came onboard a lot of the linear narrative had already been written.Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post

Not to bash the guy but the story line seems like he wrote it from a third party's view point outside looking in it plays vague like there could have been more but just don't have enough, ok something along the lines of the team water boy who hears the plays and rundowns but if put in the game he actually would not know how the plays are coordinated from coach to players like that and if he is the writer then WTF was wrong will saying something or he could be lol the reason BP is a failure and that don't look good on a special forces member when looking at other games that utilized these people hope he does not get another tactical shooter game consulting position as a writer period.
After seeing the referenced video I don't think it's a clear cut case that this story, as released by Ubisoft, was written by Emil Daubon - they already had done that, it would appear, and he was involved in follow-on writing material. IOW, material that would not have been required to be reviewed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD).
understandable but then why use him if his impact isn't visible in gameOriginally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
As was mentioned in the referenced earlier thread - it would be for marketing/selling/PR purposes (i.e., that interview, as well as the IGN interview).Originally Posted by smilecry Go to original post
I just watched the credits, and he's listed as a writer, along with several others - one of the writers IOW is how I now see it. There's no Lead/Head/Story Writer, etc. mentioned.
The most telling for me after viewing the video this is simply, he states he came on later to the project.
