so I know after UBI introduced dedicated servers couple of years ago NAT color is not so much relevant now like before

but I just want to understand what does the NAT color mean now.

my NAT is always red and I can play fine but yesterday I visited a friend's place and connected to his internet and my NAT showed green but didn't see any difference in latency or smoothness of the fights

Having a Red or closed NAT Type can result in you encountering problems accessing a titles online features.
