So Breakpoint will be better than Wildlands after the next update? Because that's the only thing i'd call "worth it".Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
Oh no, I'm from a time when the Depeche Mode was still on the radio and the idea of sending a round to your valentine was generally frown upon.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
It's not your fault, we know your hands are tied, the problem is the powers that be. My frustration with the studio is that everything is always just over the next hill nothing can be done here and now by Paris, as I said to one of the support team Ubi's promises seem like the carrot in front of the donkey. So I take it that it will be another 6 weeks of radio silence as well then.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
That's a big statement, for me, the game needs rewriting for it to be worth it. My experience from the last live event and episode 2 was very underwhelming. And I certainly have my reservations about any upcoming content that was already in the oven prior to the studio's realization they screwed up. By the time it actually gets here il be playing Last of us and ghost of Tsushima, so it will take something special to bring me back to breakpoint and I don't believe the upcoming content will do enough to change what is still fundamentally wrong with the game.
Communication at the moment would have gone a long way but I really don't feel the studio are all that bothered as they have made no attempt to improve or makegood on what they said when they released they're moving forward plans.

Really don’t blame you toon. You’ve been really good and have a humorous side that is very refreshing.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
The problem is I’m not sure the company still gets what is being hoped for, or has the same idea of what is good content. In a conversation I had with a community manager just after my removal from Delta, it was stated to me how there was going to be loads of amazing PvE content to come. What we got was episode 2 and the terminator event, both of which have not been received particularly well.
So the community manager wasn’t wrong, but it was their perception. That’s why I feel early communication would be far more advantageous. It’s difficult because obviously you don’t want to give away the whole story, but with something like the AI team mates Ubisoft could give details about such things as customisation and controls without spoiling any plot lines.
Completely agree, t00n has had more input and put more effort in with us, than all the older mods and cm's combined.Originally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post
I don't think the studio has learned anything from the mistakes they've made and the wrong direction they went in. After leaving it until the last minute with breakpoint and seeing what happened, they would have started to be more open earlier on to gauge the general feeling with anything they have been working on.
This Youtube post by Ubisoft is just glorious, couldn't help myself and had to comment on it:

The way this company conducts itself towards it's costumers, or rather a subset of it's player base is just out of this world.
