Modern warfare update wasn't' made overnight - "live content" companies run development as a "relay"
You have multiple teams working on different updates
For Example
Team A: Works on Core Engine
Team B: Is making Content that is launching 2 weeks from now
Team C: Is working on Content launching 1 1/2 months from now
Team D: Is working on Content Launching 2 1/2 months from now.
This gives the "illusion" content is being made at an extremely fast pace. In reality, each piece of content was developed over a period of months.
There are downsides to this of course
1. It requires a large income rate to support. You can't simply have 4 separate teams running unless you Monetize and have a constant supply of incoming cash flow.
2. It requires a significant head start to run this kind of relay. Which means you are Developing the "Content Updates" very early on in development in order to maintain a Content release Tempo.
So we look at Breakpoint - which doesn't have any massive Monetization system like Fortnite or MW
So we can conclude they are not running a huge multi-group team.
Which means updates will take a significantly longer time to deploy.
More importantly, they need to develop the content update for season pass + Ghost Experience Overhaul at the same time which adds more delays to the overall framework.
Finally Ubisoft French team isn't "Silent" they already announced the next TU update is delayed and will come out in July.
Ares, most of us understand what you're saying, "It may not be as simple as it seems". But do you also understand, "it's not always as complicated as it could be"?
If you feel their "communication" is sufficient, don't tell us. Go buy more MTX items, and make sure you've got your pre-orders in.
