Just fight me bro. Let's 1v1. I'm the best. If I win, I'm a better human than you. If I lose, you cheated. Obviously. No one beats me. Except cheaters. Which is like... half the players I fight.

But for real, Shugo in the right hands is pretty brutal. There's not a lot you can do against a Shugo that makes good reads and just Hyper Armors through everything.

The GB vulnerability on charging heavy makes sense.

The nerf to HA on opener light and opener heavy also makes sense. The light was only delayed by 100ms, and the zero charge, just tap RT heavy opener is only 33ms delayed HA. Barely noticeable. Barely a nerf. He's fine.
I think this is a case of a little nerf to appease the newcomers and average players. I Know as a fact newcomers struggle too much against shugo, my son friends, kids of 16 and 17 years old, can barely do anything against a good shugo with reading abilities, they saw some of my videos against them and cannot believe how with a pk I could win.

Reaction times is much better for them, I have 36 is impossible to have the same 250 ms reactions as my son have. He is diamond 4 with LB. But they depend too much on that, and not on creativity and readings, my son could advance in ranked because I trained him to be creative and assertive. His friends are barely gold. This decision is to make kids less frustrated. But the real test will be with the core combat update.

So I agree, a good shugo with knowledge of the mechanics, experience and peak reading abilities is capable of beat me, rendering my pk baits and mind games almost useless, this happened before and with this change it will still happen against high skilled people.I would prefered a little compensation for shugo though. And even for Jorm.
