Jane Perry is the best as Bowman

Whoever wrote Bowman’s cut scenes along with Jane Perry who did the voice acting deserve an award. There’s some pretty compelling cutscenes in this game. They nailed it. I still enjoy watching them even after having seen them countless times. My favs are the ones in Moyocoyo with Antonio and Gabriella. Other good ones are with Sam Fischer and Walker. They add a lot of immersion and atmosphere to the game in a subtle but important way without forcing a story or plot on the players. The whole open world concept is very well done in this game. I can’t say enough good things about it.

In addition to Antonio, I really like Jensen's!! Also La Santera's - mainly the comments following the end of the cut-scene about going bar-hopping.

Bowman was a good character, but could have been better. The cutscenes where great but the video briefings were terrible. Imagine how better it would be that once you entered a new province, Nomad made is arrival announcement and the response from Bowman "Good. I'll meet you at rally point Alpha and I'll brief you on the Buchon running the show there." When you arrive, Bowman and Pat Katari both brief you on what they know about the area and the buchon. Bowman, Katari, and Nomad interact with a map on the table on where the best intel might be. You pick the destination and Pat Katari or Bowman give you their best knowledge about that location. Nomad rounds up the squad and move out. No gimmicky video of fancy zooming in on photos and texts on the screen. Just a straight up, close to real world briefing.

I would have liked something like this as well. While the videos were well made and gave a lot of really good back story and context, they lacked any feeling or presentation of real military/cia briefings.

The video briefings weren't terrible. Could have been done differently sure, but they weren't terrible.

A more formal briefing by Bowman once Nomad moved to a new OA would indeed have been a nice touch.
